The host, Yannis, never stopped suprise us, and he goes to great lengths for his guests. The location was perfect for us. We loved walking in the old town in the evenings, and the beach isn't a... It is an exceptional apartments hotel located in a very heart place of Rethymnon, just opposite the old Venetian harbor and very close to the sandy beach. The hospitality of the owner, Mr. Yannis, was unbelievable friendly and helpful from the first to the last day. Champagne, fruits, olive oil and honey meet us just we arrived the room and... More

My husband and I have stayed in Rethymnon twice, and each time at Afroditi. At first we stayed because of a friend recommendation, then we stayed because we were so happy with the first stay. Yannis is a great owner who puts his heart into his hotel. He treats customers like long time friends and family. He gave us a... More

I have Given this Hotel an excellent rating in a previous review. If there could be a rating above excellent I would use it for this Hotel. My stay at the Afroditi with my wife could not have been surpassed. Yanni the owner provided fresh fruit and bottles of wine for our stay, and even took us out to dinner... More

If you are thinking about it, do it. Ok, the downsides, the shower is over the bath, never great, and they didn't have black tea. Otherwise this is somewhere I would come back to in a heartbeat. If you have a heart, give it a go. If it's above your budget extend yourself. If below, save some money. The room... More

What a beautiful experience my family and I shared while staying in Rethymnon. We arrived to the beautiful town in the early afternoon. We were able to find Afroditi with no problem. Upon walking in the door we were greeted with a big hello and welcome from Yannis. From that moment on it was like we were guests in his... More

This is our second stay at Afroditi. We returned because it is in a perfect location for us for a few nights before travelling to a different area. It also has facilities for a longer stay if you wished. It is in a quiet central location in the vibrant old town. The hotel is clean and well equipped. Once again... More

The place is more than descent. Spacious rooms and clean ones too. The owners picked us up so we didn't get lost, they arranged our parking place, they offered us fruits and wine for a warm welcome and they took care of us sd if we were their children.

This the second time we have stayed in the apartments and it is testament to the service from Yannis,as we have never stayed anywhere more than once before. The apartments were very clean, rooms cleaned and towels changed daily, and the fridge was full of presents such as fruit and wine. Yannis is really helpful, recommended places to visit and... More
