This is a very good hotel for the price you pay. We had a lovely room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the harbour. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect - in the old town, next to the harbour and close to so many bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed two nights after arriving in Chania (45min drive). This basic hotel is exactly that. Clean room, bedding and bathroom. Friendly and informative receptionist. Use of fridge and self catering area. (If needed) The hotel is a little tired and in need of a revamp, however the Location is what you pay for here. Perfect to explore the old town and watch the boats come in from the terrace.
the room was very small even for one person, just a very small window on a corner near the ceiling giving on a wall, with no view of course, furniture old and worn out, old and noisy fridge. there is no staff at night. not a good value.
My room stank of cigarettes and sewerage and was very noisy. Reception is unattended from late evening until midday so there is no one to complain to. I left after the first night and the hotel told Booking.com it would refund the second night but hasn’t and will not respond to emails. JUST AWFUL
Pros:location, economincal. Cons:photos totally misrepresent the actual room. It's quite old and not kept up. Looks like they did minor renos. It rained and water was leaking in and the carpet was soaked in the hall. Rooftop patio not safe at all for young kids and the furniture is broken. The "luggage check" was to keep in in the tiny lobby out in the open! No one is ever at front desk. Check in is at 2Pm and someone showed up at 2.10. Bed uncomfortable. Private patio not so private. Only partition separating from other guests. A man smoking a cigarette outside my window at 7 am and I could hear and smell everything. Like he was in the room. Unfortunately we had a bad experience. I recommend this hotel only for young people that are looking for a cheap central location. I can't recommend for a family.…
