It was terrible. The octopus was very salty, like it was only salt without octopus. It was served with french fries and lemon but it was cold. Another bad point was kalamari. They were very gummiert like orbit.😂🙈 I don’t recommend this restaurant 👎

Thought it might be nice to have lunch in their outdoor taverna, what a let down. Mousaka arrived cold..... very cold. Sent it back and some time later the same meal return cooked for a second time, oh well . We ordered a bottle of moscato sparkling wine. Mmmmm arrived warm had to ask for some ice but really it should have been kept in fridge and served chilled, not much to ask really. Salad was ok, not exciting or inventive but ok. Maybe they were having an off day.

We were in room 2. Very large with sleeping area up stairs. The bathroom (separate room with sink and toilet) are on the first level. If you get up several times a night it may be a problem. There is no traditional standing shower. The wash room had a jacuzzi tub with a hand sprayer. Nice and clean but really high to get into so be sure you are reasonably fit. The hostess was wonderful and very helpful. Easy walking to multiple shops and restaurants right near. The hotel restaurant is fabulous and right in front for breakfast and outdoor dining. We arrived by rental car and there is no parking except for the Marina lot a few blocks away. Not a problem if you drop your bags then go park. We did not know this ahead of time so my husband waited in the car while I ran in and got instructions. Pay lot. Some quirky things were even though the bathroom was on the first floor the clean towels were left upstairs on the bed. Nice beaches down the street where you can rent chairs with table and umbrella. Would stay here again.

We read the reviews before we came. This is a brilliant find. This small boutique hotel had everything we were looking for. Excellent friendly service, rooms kept beautifully clean and changed daily and breakfasts that lasted us the whole day. Nothing was too much for the staff. It was in an excellent location overlooking the beach and so close to the Old Town of Rethymnon. The meals in the restaurant are also high quality. There are such interesting places in this town, and a lovely beach if you like to sunbathe. Food generally in the old town is of a high quality and reasonable prices. The local wines are also worth tasting. We shall return next year. This hotel was outstanding!!!

Decent stay. Cleanliness was ok. Building and ambiance are adequate. Bed was comfortable, facilities decent. Breakfast was served at the ground floor restaurant and was fine. I would rate it as average.

Set in a perfect location just on the edge of the Old Town. What a gem of a find, we had booked a standard room with sea view and this certainly didn't disappoint. The room was lovely and clean and layout was great, perfect for the two of us. We were met with the warmest of greetings in the very early hours of the morning, the staff had waited for us to arrive as our flight had been delayed. On our first morning we met the wonderful ladies on Reception who talked us through everything we needed to know. Breakfast was a buffet layout of continental options, wonderful pastries and hot options on request, certainly enough to see you through the day. All of the staff at the hotel & the restaurant (see separate review) always greeted us with the warmest of smiles and welcomes, something that you don't always see in larger resort hotels. We felt completely at home during our week here and can only thank everyone for making our holiday perfect. We will definitely be staying here again, in our opinion this place takes a lot of beating. See you in 2020

Fantastic hours spent here. Outside bar/dining area is fantastic. Great menu ,fresh seafood and vegetarian options mixed with traditional meat dishes. Really good prices. The staff here are fantastic and would definitely recommend here, if only to experience the brilliant service. A must do if in the area.

I booked a room to stay in Rethymno for a social occasion. The hotel is dity and looks good, however I cannot consider it a boutique as its title defines. The element which made me give one star is the value of money which is basically a rip off.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our hotel. We are very sorry that neither the hotel, in general, did match your taste nor the hospitality of the staff was appreciated, taking into account the Manager's decision for compensation. Your comments are valuable and appreciated as long as they are accurate and reasonable. Once again, thank you!
