This is a fabulous place to stay for the single traveller. The room is functional and has lots of little extras such as shampoo, shower gel, tea and coffee. The bed is double and very comfortable. Amenities are great - 2 pools, comfortable sun loungers, small bar run by friendly staff, spa, and they offer a great choice of trips to choose from. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay fantastic. The food is amazing. It's really nice to eat all together in the evening as it gives you a chance to make conversation with other people. This is a lovely family-run hotel and is a safe haven for the single traveller. I'm definitely going again!

This small hotel is ideal for the solo traveller who may be worried about being solo. I had a lovely room with double bed, ensuite, good lighting, wardrobe and fridge. The food is fabulous and there is plenty of it, freshly made.The staff are so friendly and after a very short time all guests are on first name terms and enjoying the sun loungers by the pools or the bar. Chania is a short bus ride away and there are places of interest close by too as are beautiful sandy beaches and restaurants. I would have liked to have information in my room regarding places of interest and bus timetable too. .

I had a wonderful time , the staff are amazing special shout out for Anja , nothing is too much for them it is a special place, food beyond good, care and attention not intrusive but always around. Bedrooms are so comfortable and private and you meet a wonderfully diverse group of people.

This unique and friendly hotel is a home from home. As a solo traveler you will feel safe and make lots of new friends. The evening meal is served alfresco on one long table The food is traditional healthy Greek cuisine with the vegetables picked fresh from the garden and believe me there’s plenty In the day there are 2 lovely pools with comfy sun beds and the beach is a short walk away. The bus outside the hotel takes you to beautiful Chania great for shopping lunch and soaking up the atmosphere The hotel run trips to beautiful locations if you want them,small groups in a mini bus another chance to get to know people The rooms are all good and the beds comfortable (deluxe rooms are larger) This was my third visit and certainly not my last I would like to thank Andonis and all the staff for their genuine care and attention throughout my stay particularly Anja ( nothing was too much trouble) The bar staff Panos,Manos and Magic Mike. The cocktails are amazing 🤪 And Panos who’s smiling face will greet you at the airport (providing its a Tuesday) He’ll also be the dancer on the Greek night, the Aqua aerobic coach and drive the mini bus on your trips. I recently stayed at this singles hotel having been recommended to it. It is a family run hotel and you get exceptional service. I had a lovely sized room (deluxe) with comfortable bed and large bathroom. There is a choice of two pools, pool bar and restaurant The hotel also offers spa facilities and excursions as well as free airport transfers to/from Chania on a Tuesday. Breakfast and evening meals are included with a good selection of the produce being self grown. Meals are very much based around health and nutrition. Chania is just half an hour away and well worth a visit. I had a very enjoyable stay.

First time to the Mistral, The communication before hand from the hotel was excellent, On arrival we were met at the airport by a smiling Panos,the transfer was free of charge. Even though we arrived late in the evening there was a meal waiting for us. The rooms are amazing, all of the staff are friendly and welcoming nothing seems to much for them. There was a welcome meeting explaining all the trips that are on offer at the hotel, there was never any pressure to take part in this trips, even though they are excellent. Anja on reception is amazing nothing is too much trouble for her. I would recommend Mistral to any single travel who may be apprehensive about travelling solo, you will never feel alone there I made some fantastic friends. I will definitely return.

I have stayed here many time and it has always been fabulous. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and very well equipped. The two pools are perfect, and the grounds are great with so many spaces to relax in. I have always met lovely, like minded people there. The food and staff are excellent. If you just to relax and enjoy the sun..this is the place.

I can't remember how I heard about this hotel, but I was so glad I did. It's not been easy this year to arrange holidays and I concluded it was best to go away on my own.....but you don't feel on your own for very long at the Mistral. Dinner is communal but otherwise you can be as sociable (or not) as you want. Food is excellent, there are two lovely pools, and the staff are so kind......it rained one day, so the night before the hotel arranged a trip to the south of the island, where it was sunny. I am not generally a traveller who needs spoon-feeding but with all the uncertainties surrounding travel at the moment, it was very nice to stay somewhere where there was absolutely no hassle or pressure.

The Mistral is a fantastic holiday destination. Perfection! The staff are super friendly and make you feel like you’re part of a big family. They always put themselves out to make your vacation very special. I’ve made some fantastic friends there too. I’ve already booked to go again next year and that’ll be my fourth visit.

I’ve just returned from another wonderful trip to this uniquely wonderful hotel. Brilliant for solo travellers, The Mistral is a small, family run hotel. People return year after year to enjoy the excellent cuisine, using home grown produce. You can do however much you want to. Laze by the pool, walk along the beach or join other guests on trips to some lovely beaches, restaurants. The rooms are all of a high standard, cleaned regularly. I’ve already booked for next summer and recommend it to anyone on their own who wish to meet other solo travellers.
