The hotel is very perfect for a family holiday, rooms are big enough and sterilized aniCovid which is really important for the times we are living. We felt safe all the time which made our holiday a normal one. The owners are really nice and there to help with anything you need.

Fantastic week here at the Ledra Maleme hotel .The Room was cleaned daily , a modern , comfortable room with free air con ! The long pebble beach is literally a 5 minute walk away A large supermarket nearby , bus to chania ,€2.6 , stop is opposite large supermarket, bus is very frequent! Resort has good choice of restaurants. Our flight back was early Sunday , so the reception staff went out of their way to accommodate us at a reasonable rate € for a Saturday room. Thank you Costas , and all of your staff for a chilled out week

We had the most amazing relaxing time here! We can not fault anything. The owner was so helpful nothing was too much for him, very welcoming and made our holiday even better making it a home away from home. Bus stop into Chania a 5min walk away from the apartment making travelling around super easy and being 6months nearly 7months pregnant, I managed from start to finish with ease. The pool was clean, big and welcoming. The beach a nice stroll down a quiet road.
We got involved with the bbq Cretan dance night which I highly recommend if your there and it’s on, its a lovely evening out and even better is that you don’t have to worry about getting home afterwards!
The apartment itself was clean and fresh.
The beds made every day for us and the apartment freshened up they even provided a clean set of towels half way through our stay.
There is no noise to contend with from the main road so we had a lovely peaceful sleep, even hearing the waves from our balcony!
Like I said we had the most amazing relaxing time here and if we are ever back in Crete we know where we will be booking to stay!

This Apart/Hotel is great value for money. The rooms are spacious, very clean and tidy. I don’t think the resort has fully developed yet and in a few years May be very different. There’s quite a few restaurants on the sea front and all seem to sell pretty much the same style of food at pretty much the same price. A visit to the Black Lantern restaurant is well worth the 8 to 10 mins walk. The food and the service are faultless.
If there is a down side to this place it’s the dog that constantly barks morning noon and night. I don’t think it belongs to the Hotel but when you are woken at 5:30 and various other times of night, or when you are relaxing by the pool and hear the constant barking I think this might put me off from returning.

Visited Crete several times but this was first time based in West Crete for a short pre Easter break with family. Accommodation was modern, clean and excellently presented. On-site owner, Costas, is the perfect host and runs a friendly team of 11 who take pride in looking after the resort. Daily cleaning service was a nice surprise. kids needed good WIFi and got it for free. On-site games room, restaurant and nice pool bar. Maleme is super quiet so perfect for families and couples wanting to explore Chania and western Crete. Car hire recommended but nearby bus stop provides options for Chania if needed. Thoroughly recommended and will definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Ledra Maleme Hotel in September 2021. This place is a great find, a hidden gem. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Greece on a budget. The rooms were spacious, very clean. The air con was free, bonus. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble you only had to ask. I can not believe the bad review someone had written it was exactly the opposite in our opinion. The hotel is in a perfect spot to walk to the beach which is a 4/5 min walk. The beach in Maleme is very long but and quiet, is not a sandy one so not so good for kids who like making sand pies more pebbles than sand. The buses were every half hour from the bus stop 4 min walk from hotel into Chania or the next resort Potanias and a little further Aghia Marina, the beaches there were slightly sandier. Both these resorts were a lot busier, more hotels, shops, bars restaurants. If you want some where quiet with a handful of good tavernas then Maleme is the place. I think if the The Ledra Maleme Hotel had not been so good then the holiday would probably been just a little different as it is a big part of the experience. So a shout out again to all the staff for their hospitality. We stayed in room 47 which was perfect for us, lovely balcony with a sea view not massive but big enough. Not overlooked. This place is well worth a visit. The place is a credit to Kosta and partner and their families and all the staff.

When my wife and I go on holiday all we usually do is sit on the beach and relax. We chose the Ledra due to being so close to the beach, however we did not spend one day on the beach. The relaxing environment around the pool was absolutely fantastic with all day sunshine (plenty of umbrellas if to hot) and a poolside bar one side of pool and a restaurant the other side you have all you ever need. Costa the owner is everywhere in the complex and is all ways at hand to help you enjoy the experience even more. There are not many restaurants in Maleme but don't bother with any of them because the Ledra restaurant is fantastic for either light lunch or evening meal. An added bonus is we have meet some new life long friends and it was the atmosphere of the Ledra and facilities that enhanced the friendship, The rooms are plenty big enough and have everything you need for a self catering holiday. Finally a big thank you Costa, Peter and all the staff - see you next year.

We stayed at Ledra Maleme in August for a week, apartments really nice and newly refurbished.
The air conditioning and safe were not chargeable which was a great addition.
The restaurant and bar are so well run, food lovely.
Great location to explore with really regular bus routes to Chania at very low prices.
The pool area is lovely.
All staff were so welcoming would recommend for a great base to explore beautiful Crete.

What an amazing place to stay, spotlessly clean friendly staff and weather was amazing! The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily!
Maleme is very small village so not a lot of restaurants esp in oct as there are a lot that are closed. We got the bus a few times into Chania as there was more choice, this cost less than €5 for two of us one way but well worth the visit. We would def return to Crete and this hotel thank you Costa and team for a lovely holiday.
