Despite being a hotel fra from the city center, this is a very good family hotel. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. We rented a car and a motorcycle via the reception at a reasonable price.

The hotel is situated in a calm small town Maleme but close to more "lively" city Platanias or the nicest Crete city Chania. The room was smaller then we expected, but still big enough for two people (bathroom, bedroom with a table and a wardrobe, and terrace). And being on a room is problaby not the activity you want to...

It was extremely clean and after our arrival we found some local treatments on the table for us. The views were breathtaking from both large balconies, to the Aegean sea....

We stayed in Castro Hotel in Maleme for two weeks in August 2010. We were a bit worried because of some reviews found on the web (not very good to be honest). We were very surprised! - the Hotel was not very big, and not too busy, which was great - the building itself was very nice, cosy, clean -...
