We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a smaller, quiet hotel within walking distance of the town of Ierapetra, where you can find the promenade, shops, cafes and taverns. The hotel has a private, nice, clean beach with a gentle entrance to the sea and free sunbeds with umbrellas, clear water with lots of fish. The all inclusive food was delicious and different every day, there is a little less choice than in the big resorts, but we've never had a problem to choose. The very kind and always smiling staff made us feel really welcome. The only disadvantage is the quite busy road that separates the hotel directly from the beach, it was somethimes a problem to cross it and sometimes the noise could be heard on the beach during the busy times. It's a pity that the bar on the beach is not included in the all inclusive program. Some of the rooms have a bit old equipment and AC in our room was quite loud. We thank all the staff, whose great attitude and smile create a very pleasant atmosphere in the hotel, thanks to which one forgets all the minor weak points.

There were two of us booked into the hotel for 10 days.

Our stay was simply relaxing!

The hotel is modern overall and the rooms are too. The room amenities include a wardrobe and balcony (our room had a pool view), a safe, mini fridge and a functioning and super adjustable air conditioning system.

Our towels were changed daily and the rooms were kept neat and clean.

The hotel has its own pool area at the back of the complex, which offers loungers with umbrellas and its own pool bar.

The beach is right outside your door, a few steps across the street and you are on the hotel's own beach area, where loungers/umbrellas are free for guests. There is also a beach bar with drinks etc.

As for the entertainment program, there were various theme evenings where Greek music was played (live music) and traditional dances were performed (live). It was always possible to join in yourself and was also welcome :)

The highlight here for us was the entertainer Nico. Nico radiates a lot of friendliness, which is contagious. He DJs several times a week, sometimes with music requested by the guests. Singing, dancing, laughing is the motto here :)
Nico also takes care of the entertainment at the pool, in addition to morning yoga, Nico always offers water sports for people to join in. He loves his job and you can see it :)
The staff, from reception to the cleaning lady, cook and manager, are extremely friendly, courteous and nice!!
The location itself is rather quiet, there is a busy promenade within walking distance that you can visit in the evenings.

There is also a modern supermarket, car rentals and kiosks nearby.
We can only recommend the hotel to anyone who just wants to switch off :)!!

Outstanding hotel within walking distance of Ierapetra. Spacious, fully equipped rooms. Everywhere very clean. Delicious food including Greek dishes. None of the warm dishes on the dinner buffet was repeated for 7 days. It's a pity, because the dolmades were delicious and I would love to eat them again. But the most important thing is people! creating the atmosphere of this place. Extremely nice, helpful and friendly. Special greetings to the reception staff.

I was all inclusive in this hotel in single room.
A good choice, good compromise between the quiet of a secluded Pension, and proximity to a city. You are quiet is just a 5/15 minute walk from the town of ierapetra. no need for a vehicle to get out.
You want to stay at the hotel, there is everything you need, and the beach across the street as a bonus.
You want to do a restaurant, shopping, mingle with Cretans, take a ktel bus... ierapetra is waiting for you at 5min and 20min for centers and restaurants.

The receptionists and staff are available, welcoming and responsive and very indulgent and pedagogues in the face of delicate English translations.
The rooms are nice. the buffet restaurant offers varied dishes of good quality and good.

The only downside is the air conditioning in the rooms that makes a deafening noise...

My 2 daughters and I had a wonderful time at Tylissos beach hotel. The hotel is located a stones throw from the beach with the hotels own sun beds and beach bar right on the sand. The pool is where we spent most of our days relaxing. It's the perfect environment and well served by the music and drinks at the pool bar.
We had entertainment at the outside seating overlooking the sea at the front of the hotel and the friendly animation ladies made sure everyone was enjoying their time.
A special mention must be made of the service and the food selection (and quality) at the main Epicurious restaurant. Selection of foods at the all inclusive buffet and cooking station was excellent. Plenty of choices for my 2 vegan daughters whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Rania who leads the restaurant team was a breath of fresh air and brightened our day with her warm greetings and exemplary service. We will miss her, and we hope to return again soon.
Tylissos hotel is highly recommended. Book your stsy now. You won't be disappointed.

I stayed at the Tylissos Beach Hotel with my husband for 2 weeks.
The hotel is clean and everyone from the staff, including the hotel manager, is super friendly.
Our room with a view of the pool was always clean and we always got fresh towels. The buffet is also extensive, both in the morning and in the evening. There is something for everyone. The chef was always funny, so we always had something to laugh about while we were eating.
The beach is practically on the doorstep, which was also a decisive factor for us in choosing this hotel. On the beach there are free loungers with umbrellas and a bar.
Due to the location of the hotel, the area is generally quite quiet. If you are expecting more "nightlife", you would have to walk a few minutes towards the beach promenade or order a taxi.

There are 2 car rentals near the hotel, including a kiosk and a modern supermarket that is open every day until around 9 p.m.

With Nico we had one of the best entertainers we have ever experienced. Nico simply radiates a sympathy and energy that is contagious. His great manner and super entertainment program every other evening really made our vacation even more enjoyable! Since he speaks fluent German, among other things, we were able to understand each other very well, but Nico speaks many more languages!! Dancing, singing, DJ, water sports trainer, yoga trainer are among his tasks/strengths and we ask ourselves: what can't this man actually do?!

A great personality with great entertainment for guests and also the hotel staff.

It's a shame that we can't have Nico in every hotel :)

In addition to Nico's program, there were also so-called theme evenings on certain days with live Greek music and folk dances. The hotel manager also joins in with the dancing, which we thought was great. Every Sunday at 2
1:15 the Stuff gives out raki/shots.

Our stay was great and relaxing and we can recommend it to anyone who appreciates a quieter vacation atmosphere.

We will definitely be back!

Thanks to all the staff of Tylissos Hotel.
Starting with the hotel manager, who always has his finger on the pulse, through the reception, the kitchen, the service in the dining room, the professional bartenders and barmaids, to the cleaning staff inside and outside and the new animators Julia and Patrycja, who are full of verve and new ideas.
Thanks also to our resident Mr. Marcin from Coral Travel.

You all contributed to the fact that our stay in your hotel will be remembered for a long time.
Bravo!!!

We have literally just arrived at this hotel 4am the early hours 17th September. First impressions good until we got in our triple standard room until we seen what was supposed to be 3 beds 2 of which were comfortable and one worse than a basic camp bed which was rock hard. By the time 5.30/6am it was like the M6 Motorway constant traffic noise our room facing fully onto this. We decided to go for breakfast 7.30am each getting scrambled egg grilled tomato and Greek bacon all of it clay cold considering we were some of the first people in there and it had not long been open it could have at least been warm. We mentioned it to staff to which we were told it will be better tomorrow!!!! Not good enough. What we see next was even worse. SEE PHOTOS Filthy cloth being used to wipe down tables and the person wiping them touching dirty dishes then touching clean ones. Considering extra precautions are supposed to be taken at hotels for covid and hygiene reasons this place certainly does not reach the standards. No Antibacterial cleansing at all. We put our complaint to manager who was damn right rude and assumed we had no right in taking a photograph of the filthy cloth. If this is what they are using in front of house what on earth is it like behind doors. We have been in touch with our operator to be moved.

Dear guest, As per the review on top, we would like to apologize for all the inconvenience and trouble that we may have caused to you. From the very first moment of your arrival, we were not able to make you feel relaxed and welcomed and that is something that we are going to work on in the future and correct our wrongs. Our staff excels on support, services, cleanliness and politeness but somehow, we missed the spot. We will definitely work on it. We may only wish to you to have a much more pleasant experience at your next stop. With regards, G. Lianos

Unbelievable that this hotel has received 4 stars. We were away for a week.
- didn't get the bed linen changed at all
- the air conditioning made so much noise that you couldn't sleep if it was on, and it couldn't cool the room at all.
- shower didn't work.
- cleaning was very poor
- we lost a card to the room and had to pay 14 euros.
- beach towels probably only had a deposit on them. But had to pay 2 euros per Towel when they had to be changed.
- the hotel's private beach bar, here you had to buy for 10 euros per Person per Day to use their sunbeds.

The location of the hotel, on the other hand, was fine.

Absolutely cannot be recommended as a 4 star hotel. Unbelievable that Apollo, who we traveled with, classifies the hotel as 4 star, you would think they checked up on the hotels continuously.

The hotel is generally clean and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable.

BUT: fitness people, be careful! The hotel says everywhere that it has a fitness studio, but there isn't one, or rather there used to be one, but it is no longer allowed to operate because everything is too outdated.

The cleaning ladies are also extremely frugal when it comes to fresh glasses, for example. In 11 days, our glasses were not replaced once and there is no drinking water in the rooms.

The kitchen is great, the food was always plentiful and of high quality.

At this point I would like to praise the chefs and a particular waitress "Ranja". She is an angel, tries to make all guests as comfortable as possible and succeeds.

The pool is very well maintained.

When I visited there, "Nico" was there as an entertainer, you can tell he loves his job and is extremely friendly.

I had booked half board, but since you can also book all inclusive in the hotel (read too late), I wouldn't come again.
