We have had a fantastic experience throughout our stay in South Coast. The area is not filled with tourists, compared to other places in Crete. We felt very welcomed during our time spent, and felt like we knew many people in the hotel after a week. It was very clean, and the staff were amazing and helpful. We have 4 children, and everybody enjoyed staying in the hotel. The buffet wasn’t the biggest, but everything was very tasty and delicious. Else, there are very nice taverns close to the hotel where you can enjoy tasty seafood, greek wine and coffee. Beach is just 50 meters away. Great place to completely relax in the warm sun. We recommend to rent a car (the staff is very helpful with it) and take a trip to Ierapetra (less tourists and more locals)), Knossos. If else, recommend also an excursion to Spinalonga !:)

This year has been my 4th year here and it's like coming home. The hotel has a friendly, family atmosphere and is in a quiet place where you can relax and not listen to discos until the morning. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and the view is wonderful. The food was fantastic, we always knew what to choose. The pool bar was our favorite place where, apart from the beach, we probably spent the most time meeting new people and talking with our friends from the hotel. Of course, the drinks were not to be missed, they are really at the level. The staff here are very friendly and always knew how to give us tips on where to go and what to see. The beach is pebbly, but it didn't bother us, since the wind is common in Crete, and this way at least we didn't have sand everywhere. Can't wait to be here next year.

I can only talk positive about the rooms and the staff. Everything else was pretty bad. Very bad food both breakfast and dinner. The beach area is very meh as well. And there is absolutely nothing to do near the hotel, it feels like you are in an abandoned town.
For the amount of money I wish I would have chosen something else.

This, family run hotel is well presented, clean and stays in very quiet Greek village. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is private beach near by. Food was home made- simple but very nice. I would recommend this hotel for those who value quite environment and homely atmosphere. Strongly recommend to hire a car to explore Southern part of Crete.

Nice hotel with swimming pools and close to the beach. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable double beds. Variety of food for breakfast (some extremely delicious) and a very good taverna close to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely return here in the future.

Me and my friend spent nearly two weeks in South Coast in August and we were really happy about that. Hotel is small, with a pool and run by a family. The food you get is from Crete and fresh (we loved vegetables and fruits for the breakfasts and dinners). Sea, bar Big Blue and tavern (where we had a chance to meet the locals and had amazing food) are nearby. If you are looking for truly relaxing holiday, go for it! p.s. I would like to say thanks to all guys from a bar... they helped us with everything (including fixing my shoe)
