It is located in a massive building; not very stylish but functional. Inside you enter a very appealing hotel hall. Later, after breakfast, we unfortunately found that here in this hall the employees of the house were talking very loudly and also over long distances. It was unbearable! Our room was very pleasant; size fit, equipment was friendly and especially pleased us the large balcony. We could sit there and had a nice view of a busy place in the middle of the city. Despite this traffic, we could sleep well at night. The beds were good, but there was trouble in terms of sleep elsewhere: the house is very noisy and the water flushes can be heard through the walls. We then slept with plugs in our ears. The location was good. One had 200m to the beach and 500m to the bus terminal. Breakfast was very extensive, but unfortunately there was no Greek food and also the quality of the food available was very modest. Somewhat unpleasant was also the location of the breakfast: One sat in the twilight of a very poorly lit room. Only in a small adjoining room were there a hint of Greek food and also light with Cretan jams, nuts and dried fruit. Some Greek music would have been nice, too. Conclusion: Too high a price for the deficits and also not a point of contact for us because we want to get to know countries on our travels and because there is nothing in the Astrom that has a Greek character. We got a spacious four bed apartment with a nice terrace. There is a parking lot in front of the building for the hotel guests. We got a free welcome drink also. The breakfast was really great and various. The city beaches are not the best, I recommend the neighbour Long beach or the beautiful Mirtos beach.

Sincerely, for us, the contract has been fulfilled. Located directly on the beach near the small shops, the Pension enjoys a privileged location and a modern presentation. We had a room with a direct view of the sea. I confirm that to wake up with the sound of waves and very pleasant. We also found the professional staff. Nearby we recommend: A sure value referenced by the backpacker the Vira Potzi restaurant a few minutes walk by the sea. We also recommend the small Beach Club le Waikiki which is located in 200 m from the Inn to enjoy the sunbeds offered by the establishment for a relaxing day. Resto side a simple but effective Award card. In short, we enjoyed this stopover as a whole.

The exterior of the hotel is a bit shabby but inside everything is new, clean and spacious. Welcoming staff. We had a room for 3 with 2 bedrooms (a double bed + a single bed). Large wardrobe, desk, fridge, wifi. Bathroom ok. With a balcony overlooking the sports field and a bit of the sea. However, the air conditioning did not work very well and it was quite hot in the rooms. Breakfast included, salty and sweet, varied and of good quality. Located right next to the promenade with restaurants and shops, 10 minutes walk from the fortress. The city is not of particular interest, so you should not plan to spend a lot of time there.

Quite a large hotel located on the sea wall where we had a room with a frontal sea view. You are 50 meters from the terraces of all restaurants on the dike. The breakfast was very good and varied and took place in a large room. This was necessary because a lot of people stay there through travel organizations. The beach of Ierapetra, which is of very good quality, is just in front of the hotel, the beach chair section is 50 meters away. We had a great stay here in a very pleasant town.

Lovely and clean. The sea view is worth it. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel has many restaurants and beaches right there. Parking was easier to get by mid afternoon but municipal parking is not far. We highly enjoyed this hotel.

I was very happy with the room, it was what I had hoped for. Reasonable room, balcony facing the sea, nice bathroom. It was nice and clean everywhere. The beds were comfortable, reasonably soft / hard. The staff was nice too. Wifi worked really well. I did not like breakfasts much, it could be better than that. And the dining room did not look very nice, unfortunately. A little cold so to speak.

We have stayed in Astron hotel for a week. We had a really big and lovely room. Clean and modern hotel ran by a family. Great services and excellent location, right on the beach and super close to the city centre . The breakfast was very good. Will certainly come back again.

We (wife and I) stayed for a week in the hotel, with the intention of using it as a base for exploring the beaches and mountain villages of the area. While we didn't have any expectations, we were very pleasantly surprised by the level of service; everyone we met, from the receptionists to the kind kitchen lady were very friendly and eager to provide us with information and tips, in some cases going out of their way to assist us.
The breakfast was varied and included both continental staples and local delicacies (try the wonderful cinnamon juice and the lemonata cakes!). Our room was air-conditioned and had a refrigerator and two flat-screens. Fairly standard fare, but that was exactly what we were after. Housekeeping was great, leaving the rooms nice and clean for us.
The hotel itself is located at the beginning of the Ierapetra promenade and a short walk from the town center and the Saturday public market. A small word of warning, it's very difficult parking in the guests parking area, but that's a general issue with Ierapetra, which is not helped by the one-way streets. If you're thinking about renting a car or bringing your own, consider leaving it by the school close-by.
Special mention for the massage service the hotel provides. Arriving with a couple of sports injuries and hiking in the nearby canyons all day, it was a godsend being able to relax with some quality and inexpensive deep tissue massage.
