Great few days stay here. Room was comfortable and clean, shower was powerful and the views were great. Breakfast is also pretty good with lots of options and location is really central to all the shops, bars, restaurants, port and bus station Staff were very friendly
Very well located in city center, nearby old port and shopping area. But... this area is also a noisy one during summer time, specially due to disco bar "The garden" just in front. Difficult to sleep before midnigth to 1am. Service and guest office is really helpfull and they addressed stateroom issue very professionnally.
The hotel was centrally located but quiet at night (double glazed windows stopped any noise in the room). The staff were super helpful especially Anna on reception who was so helpful when giving directions and tips on what to do. She also arranged a late checkout and was just one of the nicest and most caring people I have ever met in a hotel. The breakfast was fabulous with loads of choice and fresh and cooked food. If you have an early flight they can arrange a breakfast at 3 am in the morning! And it takes about 30 seconds to arrange with staff! The room was huge and clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who went out of their way to help.
Location was great, we were just there one night to see the Palace of Knossos and the Archeological Museum (both must dos!) Ibis Styles was perfect, close to airport and museum, lots of bars and rest around, walking distance to museum. Great breakfast and very comfortable room with a balcony. Staff was very helpful and arranged a taxi to pick us up at the ferry and take us to our next destination.
Arrived here for an overnight stay between Villas during a holiday in Crete. From the off the reception staff were fantastic. The room was a suite and was superb, two separate en-suite bedrooms with a living area in between it really met our expectations. Two of the staff - the male receptionist and the young female in the roof-top bar were so pleasant and enthusiastic and deserve a special mention, I wish I had asked their names to give them a personal shout out. Give the roof top bar a look, it opens at 1800hrs and gives you a marvellous view as the sun sets over the mountains and sea. The hotel is wonderfully situated right in the centre of the city and with three great little bars right opposite. The good thing was that when we went to bed, despite the proximity, there was almost no noise. There is a car park attached which has an agreement with the hotel at €7 per 24 hours. A bit strange when you arrive as it is valet parking and they keep your keys. There was definitely a thought of them pinching your car, however, it is genuine and really handy. Breakfast was nice, there was fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cooked meats cheese and breads, to start as well as buffet hot selection. The hot buffet may not be to everyone’s taste, but ‘when in Rome’ and that. I would definitely stay here again, your staff did you proud Ibis.…
We stay at the hotel for one night.the location is perfect and really nice neighbourhood. The staff was so polite and make our stay really pleasant! The room was clean and beautiful with many amenities!it’s a great choice for staying an the centre oh the city!
First time at this property , platinum member of le club accor hotels ! Easy check in from Alexandros, gave us a deluxe room at fifth floor ( i madeAND paid the reservation from accor page for this type, no any upgrade no welcome amenities !!! I ask and the answer is DUE TO COVID !!! ) . Very helpful the parking at ground floor and the price is cheap for hotel guests 7 euro ! We had break lunch with two FANTASTIC salads and crunch french fries in reasonably price for the quality and quantity ! Due to the weekend the noise from the music in the shops next door is enough at noon but more at night, fortunately we stayed at 5TH floor.the level of cleanliness is quite good.the level of cleanliness is quite good. And for the end , RESPECT to the one of my BEST OF THE BEST breakfast in my nomad life as hotels guests !!! Thanks for hospitality from friendly staff , mayby next time is better ?…
Nicest of staff. Very good value for money. In the center of Heraklion. Noisy on the weekend but staff was very accommodating and helpful in moving us to another room. Curtains don’t completely block the light so early wake up. Very impressive breakfast spread. Highly recommend
I spent 4 nights and my stay was wonderful since all the Front Desk team is devoted to customer detail and every one is very solicitous and helpful! Great location, modern hotel and an incredible breakfast. Do not even discuss it if you are planning a trip to Heraklion.
I'm happy to award top marks to this Ibis Styles - I'd say it is a cut above a typical property in this chain. The undoubted highlight was the all-round view from the balcony of my 5th floor room, from mountains to sea. Otherwise, the room was clean, spacious and smartly decorated. Complementary water was provided but no tea & coffee facilities - I understand some facilities were curtailed by measures against COVID-19.. The breakfast buffet was very good indeed, with a wide selection of hot and cold, fruits, cereals and baked goods, and served in a spacious dining room with plenty room and even the opportunity to eat outside. A modern mall area surrounds the hotel, featuring a number of eating & drinking establishments, and a (paid) car park is on site. The main shopping streets, central bus station and stops for local buses are only a few minutes walk, as is the harbour and ferry port - in short, the location could hardly be better. Heraklion itself is a really lively city with a big choice of bars, restaurants, cafes and of course gyros shops, so one is spoiled for choice when eating and drinking out.…
