At £12.50 the youth hostel is what you pay for. We stayed as a group of three in an 8 person female dorm which was spacious considering the number of people. Lockers also included and found within the rooms. Only downside is that there is no A/C so rooms get quite warm at night and that there seems to be... More

The hostel is well situated near the port, bus stop and city centre. Easy to get to. At 10 euro a night it is very cheap. It was about 39 degrees the day/night we stayed here which made it very uncomfortable as there are no fans in the rooms. A ceiling fan and a couple of pedestal fans would make... More

A Traditional Family run hostel right in the heart of Town, with loads of character. A great location , walking distance from the bus station, not far from the port or Airport. Really Friendly and helpful staff. Basic, but all you need. Good free Wi-Fi signal. Would use again

Don't take any notice of the bad reviews on here. It is a nice little hostel with friendly staff and a central location. I went up into the top deck to eat my breakfast and it has some amazing views. It's only a 10 minute walk from the dock. The rooms are basic but with character (there's also free, strong... More

When I booked I was expecting minimum assets needed for a good stay. When I arrived it was completely different. There were not even basic kitchen utensils such as knife or fork. Everything (the least what they could provide) was pretty dirty. There was a warn telling to wash the dishes but there's no sink !! At least a proper... More

Dirty, smelly, broken, no common room, unfriendly staff, weird closing times, bad mattresses, smelly. The male dorm is super dirty, super smelly and the worst dorm I've ever seen. single room for 20 Euro per night, which was an acceptable room.

I believe this is a family run business and the owners do their best to make your stay a pleasant one. The lovely lady owner brought grapes most mornings to my room buddy and I. The Wifi is good and it offers a roof top area which you can enjoy. Plenty of showers and toilets, a fridge and a kettle... More

Loved the value of this place and its location. Step right from the doorstep into eateries and sights of Heraklion. I stayed in the large mens dorm and as with most hostels lots of men coming in at different hours rummaging around making sleep not happening until everyone finally quiets down after midnight or there abouts. But knowing this is... More

I have been to multiple hostels in different countries and this needs to be the worst ever. The people who were also staying in there were nice and that saved the experience. Also it has an amazing localisation. Otherwise, such lack of hygiene... I mean, we came to realize they didn't change the lower sheet and pillow cover from person... More

I stayed here for one night on way to the airport. The dormitory beds are very affordable and quiet. The bathrooms are clean with hot water. The location of the hostel is convenient, close to the sea and to the Main Street in Heraklion with eating places and museums. It was an easy 5-minute walk to the bus stop with... More
