This is an amazing hotel in a good location for rest and relaxation. The staff was very welcoming upon arrival. We got checked in immediately. We were given a tour of the properties and information on amenities. The hotel room was clean and spacious, and we had our own private pool that overlooked the private beach and sea. There were also Apivita body products available in room. The room had ample plugs available, and lots of seating. We were provided complimentary champagne, a fruit tray, and bottled water. We had lunch on the beach area and the food was fresh and delicious. Also, the included breakfast was delicious and had many offerings. The beach area had water activities that were fsmily friendly. The hitel also had several restaurants on site for lunch, dinner, and entertainment. The staff was kind enough to call for us a taxi when we wanted to go into the town of Agios Nicolaos for a few hours. Just know this hotel is west of Chania, so if you want to go to the city it is an approximately 3.5 hours drive. I would recommend staying here for several days to enjoy the full resort experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next visit back to Crete.

Fantastic location and suites . We found it was perfect for a weeks relaxation in the sun. We didn’t have to venture outside the resort as all needs fully catered for wonderful spa, gourmet dining , clean beach, gym , water sports, golf , stores for all needs from jewellery to clothes to sun creams. The crowning glory here is definitely the wonderful staff who go out of their way to make your stay very special and there is a really great atmosphere all over the resort. I would highly recommend and will return .

We came with a family of 5 and had a great time. We had some misunderstandings about the type of room we wanted but management dealt with all our issues quickly and professionally. The kids club and creche staff are wonderful and our children loved it. However the Ark is not in use so the kids had no inside facilities. Restaurants were amazing. Very rare to find such high quality food in all restaurants in a hotel. Beach and pool area are lacking a bit in seating areas and chairs were quickly reserved in the morning. The spa is wonderful, the gym is a bit dated. The treatments very what you can expect from Six Senses. And the staff is what made the hotel so special. Very caring and attentive in all levels of the hotel. The hotel has a few areas that need to be renovated but this will be addressed this year. We cant wait to come back next summer!

We have just returned from a family holiday here for 12 nights. Overall - a wonderful place. Beautiful views, beaches, and sunbathing areas. Staff were fabulous - attentive and helpful...... especially the lovely beach waiters. We stayed in a 3 bedroom Peninsula Suite which was kept clean and had very comfortable beds, pillows etc. We didn't use our private pool as much as we expected to as there isnt much room to sit around it - only the small terrace area directly outside the sliding windows. As a family of 6, there was not enough room for everyone to sunbathe as well as use pool, so we ended up spending most of our time on the beach. We had a fabulous time at the Opa and Cretan evenings, and very much enjoyed the food at Il Borro - however, the absolute scene stealer was KOH restaurant! The food was AMAZING and all six of us couldn't get enough! Our one gripe, was the very over inflated cost of a bottle of wine. The absolute lowest price of any bottle, was around 50 euros, which was for a bottle of local wine. My favourite French white wine was costing over 200 euros per bottle - yet - when we had lunch at a local taverna just down the road, we were able to get a bottle of the same wine for 68 euros. So, if you are a selective wine drinker i would consider this! Our 4 boys loved the water sports available at the beach, and these were generally reasonably priced. Breakfast each morning was served with a beautiful view and wonderful staff who remembered us each day and knew which coffee i would like before i even had to order. The gym on site at Peninsula is small but adequate. We were advised that there was a bigger gym at one of the sister properties that we could use, but we never went there. The indoor pool was always pretty empty so easy enough to use for a few lengths if you could bear the very cold temperature! Finally, our only other point to note was the lack of covered/indoor areas to hang out in if the weather turned. We had a couple of days towards the end of our holiday where it rained heavily. There is no bar within the hotel to have a drink at - only the beach bar with limited cover - so this became very busy in the rain. The children had nowhere to go, as they were too old for Kids Club ( which is age 11 and under) - and the 2 table tennis tables in the limited covered areas were always in use. I do think an allocated area for older kids/teens would be a great idea here as there were plenty in this age bracket on resort. When we stayed at a different resort in Elounda a couple fo years ago, they had exactly this, and it was well used and appreciated by my kids! Overall though - a pleasant and relaxing holiday.

Dear Mrs. Halder, Thank you for visiting Elounda Peninsula All Suite Hotel, for taking the time to review our property and for awarding us with such a good rating. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay with us and in particular the views, the beach area , the service provided by our staff, our theme nights “Opa” and “Cretan night”, the Il Borro Tuscan Bistro and of course Koh, the sushi restaurant. We are taking into consideration your comment about the 3 bedroom collection suite and we already have a plan of enlarging the outside area for 2023. We are sorry to read that it was not communicated to you that in our wine lists there are local wines at the price of 29€ per bottle, and we will make sure this won’t happen again in case you decide to visit us again next year. Please keep in mind that for the pricing, we follow the same formula as almost all 5 star hotels and I hope you understand that we cannot possibly compete with a local taverna, especially if they sell at the price they purchase. You are absolutely right to comment the lack of covered areas in case the weather turns. Crete has an average of 300 days of sunshine every year, and it is very rare that it rains during summer. Having said that, for next season we plan to renovate the bar and the restaurant by the beach and we have looked into being able to cover the whole area in case it is needed. Finally we were really glad to read that your kids enjoyed the water sports center. For 2023 we are working on a new amazing teens program, with many more activities for our younger guests. Please visit our website in the beginning of the year for all exciting news. Once again we want to thank you for staying with us and for the useful review. We look forward to welcoming you back next year. Best Regards Ilias Ilias S. Kokotos Marketing Director

We’ve just returned from a 2 week stay here. We had a spectacular time and I would love to go back again one day. The location where you can lie on a deckchair with the sea in front of you and the pool behind you with just a few steps between each is incredible. The hotel is really lovely but the 2 best bits are the staff and the food. The staff were phenomenal from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Nothing was too much trouble and they were smiley and friendly despite it appeared never having a day off! The manager in the restaurant is fantastic as is the wine waiter and we became very fond of the team during our stay. The food in all the restaurants was really impressive. We didn’t have a bad meal in 2 weeks, so much so, we didn’t bother to leave the resort! It’s worth booking in for the plate smashing evening at Elies, Il Borro is wonderful - we went several times and the Yacht Club and Old Mill also great. We went to Koh once, expensive but fantastic food and a view to die for. Worth it. We had a day on the big yacht the hotel charters - it’s an expensive thing to do but truly memorable as a one off - Marvin on board was brilliant! All in all I have nothing at all negative to say. We loved it! Thanks to all of the staff!
