This is the best hotel/resort we've ever stayed in! It is so distinctly different from anything else. You feel incredible privacy and yet you get excellent attention whenever you need. In every regard- from food to water - it ranks 5+. Breakfast is excellent. Waters are calm and warm. The scenery is breathtaking. Special compliment to the Six Sense Spa. The first time - in May 2021 - we experienced a special Easter program, with live dance and music and traditional food.

Just come back from a ten day trip which was nothing short of brilliant. Staff were phenomenal across all aspects of the hotel, whether it was the team behind the reception, restaurant staff, beachside staff through to the reservation staff (particular call out to George as we had to rearrange three times). The hotel will hold a special place in our hearts as we got engaged during our time there and again with thanks to all the staff who were apart of the elaborative plan. Our favorite meal was at the old mill which was fine dining at its best and would not be out of place amongst some of Londons finest establishments. Would recommend having a room with a private pool which just adds to your stay here.

Beautiful hotel with a good service but not kid/family oriented. Simple baby food (baby of 12 months) 12euros, and these 3X per day... The taste was terrible. Everything in the hotel was perfect excepted the F&B services. The staff was so stress in the morning at the breakfast and communicated it to the guests. The room, swimming-pool and facilities are very good. The staff is very nice, polite and flexible. As a professional in the hospitality industry, we have been surprised that for a 5stars hotel nothing is offered for the guests. The sense of quality should be reflected through little extras/gifts to the client but at Elounda Peninsula, you take, you pay. These is very disappointed for a high standard hotel. Anyway, we had a nice stay and the view and location was great.

Response from Ilias Kokotos, General Manager at Elounda Peninsula All Suite Hotel
Responded Sep 5, 2021
Dear Guest, Thank you for your time to review Elounda Peninsula and for your very positive comments regarding the location of the hotel, the service and the views. We are also glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to welcome you back. We have communicated your comment about kids food to our food and beverage director and he will definitely look into this. We are also sorry, that due to the very strict protocols that the Greek government has implemented due to the pandemic, we were not able to offer you the little gifts/extras that we usually do. Despite the daily bottles of water, the coffee capsules and the welcome amenities, we are not allowed to offer the daily gestures. We all hope that things will change and from next year this is going to be possible. Warm Regards Ilias Ilias S. Kokotos Marketing Director

This hotel has amazing views, but even more amazing people! Everyone is so kind, and dedicated to making your stay excellent. I'm was so impressed by so many staff members who went out of their way, to find something we'd forgotten, to help us with a recommendation, and to answer our questions. We've stayed in many 5 star hotels across the world, and we have never been treated as kindly. We had even forgotten a cable for our computer, and the woman at the front desk was SO helpful and went out of her way, and managed to borrow one for us! Our suite was enormous! We had plenty of space and lots of privacy. The finishes in the rooms are high quality and we didn't hear any noise from our neighbours, at all - which is incredibly rare in a hotel. The room service, can be delivered to your own private pool, and it was delicious, decadent and very reasonably priced. The beach bar lunches were also great. And the bartender at night, is so friendly and interested in people, he also made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was spacious, the air conditioning worked well and the beds were comfortable. However - take care, if you need a dark room - the curtains are not blackout, and there is a window, with no covering, which can make for bright mornings. If this is your case, discuss with the hotel ahead of time, as they have solutions. The breakfast had great views and lots of choice. The hotel organized a paid shuttle for us from the airport, and our driver was timely, professional and knowledgeable. The hotel restaurants are on the pricey side - and they try to give you the overpriced water, instead of the local bottled water - so take care.

Room Tip: We took the basic room, but the rooms closer to the beach seemed very nice too!

Stayed at the Elounda Peninsula in June for 12 days and had a fabulous holiday. All the staff were amazing, cheerful and so happy to make our stay so good. Rooms are not the most modern but are spacious and clean and all rooms have a fabulous view over the sea and are just a few steps from a private beach. My only criticism is the lack of shade on the beach and unfortunately the blocking of sunbeds from people who don't show top until 2pm. Food at all the restaurants was fantastic and if anything servings were too big. Was a bit disappointed for the lack of traditional basic Greek dishes (Gyros etc) The a la carte menu for breakfast covered everything you could want for breakfast and the view sensational. If you don't fancy eating a big meal at the restaurants, room service had some lighter options which are delicious. Elounda is only an 8 euro taxis drive away and there are lots of great restaurants there serving great greek food. The choice of watersports available is fantastic, albeit all activities are at an extra cost but i would so recommend the half day sailing cruise. We loved it so much we did it twice and it definitely made our holiday. Alex and Illias were just fantastic and when we go back to the hotel, which we definitely will, we will be booking our sailing trip.
