We’ve just come back from 11 nights on half board. We stayed in room 518 and the views were absolutely amazing. The sea and Spinalonga were simply brilliant. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere with views anything like it. The room itself wasn’t very big and we struggled with the lack of space. The air conditioning wasn’t great and if you left it on for long periods it seemed to switch itself off? It also wasn’t connected in the bathroom which meant the bathroom was always very hot and you had to make sure you kept the door closed otherwise it heated up the bedroom! The bathroom itself wasn’t great as it was very small and every time you had a shower the toilet and the floor got wet through. The towels seemed to get changed sporadically, certainly not daily, and the water in the fridge was topped up every few days rather than daily which was disappointing. The main door didn’t close very well, you could see daylight when it was closed, and as a consequence we had some uninvited visitors, two huge spiders and a scorpion! We ate at the hotel 3 times in total, twice at the buffet and once at the ‘yellow sea’ Asian cuisine. All 3 meals were very nice but particularly the Asian meal. The hotel is set between Elounda and Plaka and most nights we got a taxi into Elounda which was always €6. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants there and taxis are so easy to catch. The hotel is built on a very steep slope and they have golf buggies to run you about and at the very top there is a pool that’s a bit more exclusive but most of the guests didn’t seem to know about that pool so it was much quieter. The entertainment at the hotel was fairly dreadful, if anything this encouraged us to go out when it was on! All in all we had a good time there but if we stayed again we would definitely want a bigger room!

Very nice staff, so helpfull. Dimitris from the poolbar is the best! Always in for a joke. The food is ok, nothing special. The room with private jacuzzi has a nice view. All inclusive is not necesarry.

We visited Elounda Blu 25th June to 10th July 2019 for our honeymoon/1st year anniversary. We first booked Elounda Blu for our honeymoon in July 2018, but my husband had a nasty accident and we had to cancel and claim on our insurance. We were obviously gutted. We've since had a pretty bad year with lots of operations and hospital stays for my husband. But he was well enough for us to go for two weeks and spend our 1st year anniversary. Our first contact via email with the hotel was excellent with my endless questions answered promptly. I just cannot gush enough about this place, the food was excellent, our room was gorgeous, we stayed in room 621 with a private sea view and swim up pool. Buggy's up and down which is a god send with my husbands leg and the heat. We would like to say a special thank you to Maria the concierge, she was outstanding. She helped us to book a restaurant locally for our anniversary meal and organised a cake for us. It didn't end there, she took the time to check we were ok and if we needed anything. She gave excellent customer service and please pass on our thanks to her. If you are visiting Elounda Blu and you need anything, go and find her, she is very helpful. All the staff are excellent from cleaning staff, reception, and the restaurant manager (I do not know his name sorry). We did visit the Asian restaurant once during our visit, I wish we hadn't though, the food in the Island Restaurant is far, far better. The waitress really rushed us, 3 courses in just under 45 minutes let alone the constant pouring of our wine in a bid to hurry us! Plus the comment that we ate there for free. Hardly!! Our all inclusive two week holiday was £4,500... that is certainly not free!! I was really unhappy about that experience, we ended up looking longily over the balcony at the gorgeous food down stairs. Never to be repeated. I would have given 1 star to this if there was anywhere on trip advisor I could have left the Asian restaurant a separate review. I have left a separate review for the Aegon Spa as both my husband and I felt very harrassed by the constant selling outside the restaurant and on the beach twice a day every day. Aside from the above, I would highly recommend Elounda Blu, it a beautiful hotel, modern, clean and aesteically pleasing. The customer service is outstanding and the location beautiful. We have returned relaxed and healthy, albeit a few pounds heavier and badly needing the gym ;) We will definitley be returning, thank you to everyone who made the end of a tough year truly memorable.

This was our third visit to the Sentido Elounda Blu and right from the off, it was like coming back to a second home. We took our adult children with us to show them one of our favourite parts of the world. We had the basic rooms but they were clean and well furnished. Admittedly the hotel is built on a steep gradient but there are always buggies available to take you up night or day. The staff are exceptionally friendly and we found nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is undergoing some growth with new rooms, restaurant and pool at the top of the hill still not quite in use ( which meant the restaurant was very busy at meal times) but we found the service to be fantastic. We will definitely be returning!

We visited the Elounda last year and fell in love with it. Coming back this year was like coming home. The staff are still all here and several remembered us (Amazing considering the thousands they meet throughout the season). It was our anniversary and it couldn't have been lovelier. We want to thank all the staff for their hard work whilst we were there especially the guys in the main bar from the ever lovely Maria, Spiros, Theodora and Mikey. The guys on reception Nikos and Monica. Mani the restaurant manager who we swear was part of triplets he was always in all the restaurants at the same time or at least it seemed that way!😃😃 and lastly again the amazing buggy boys who work driving up and down that hill tirelessly and the maids that work so hard keeping our rooms lovely to go back to everyday. We cannot thank you enough and will be back to see you all again next September.
