Everything is excellent in this hotel: a very attractive street without traffic and two excellent restaurants in that very street, very good room with balcony and view, clean, friendly staff, good bed. We have travelled all over the world but this is one of the best hotels we have had the pleasure to stay in.

The most perfect location in the old Venetian part of town, close to quiet restaurants and taverna. Beautifully furnished, comfortable room with view onto the square. The most friendly and helpful staff. Breakfasts in a walled secluded courtyard. Everything about this gem of an hotel is just wonderful. Would not dream of staying anywhere else !

Situated in the the Old Town with its labyrinth of cobbled lanes and wonderful charm, Hotel Ionas is the perfect place to experience Chania. Our corner room on the first floor was comfortable, bright and spacious with delightful views out onto the cobbled street and a nearby courtyard, where some adorable cats and kittens would lounge around its stone walls....

My wife and I stayed here for 4 night in May/June. Top of our long list of plusses for the hotel was the friendliness of the receptionist (Maria) and the Victoria who served breakfast. Victoria is rightly proud of the homemade cake she provides at breakfast time. The rest of the breakfast offer is also first class. A great choice...

I heartily recommend booking a room here. The hotel is beautifully finished, the location in the Turkish quarter is the best in Chania, and the breakfast in the courtyard was a nice touch. I debated staying in this area or near the harbor- after seeing how busy the harbor was, and how cute this neighborhood was, I knew I made...

Great boutique hotel, with great hospitality. The rooms were so clean and well kept. I will always remember the breakfast from this place too. It was an amazing selection compared to what other hotels give. Would definitely come back here to stay next time

We had the perfect stay in Chania in this great little hotel. We were well looked after, the room was neat and spacious and it's within walking distance to the waterfront, shops and the main attractions. Definitely book here!

The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the Old Town, with some excellent restaurants next door and a five minute walk from the harbour. The rooms are stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The hotel reception is shut between 2pm-6pm, however, so make sure you inform them ahead of time when you expect to arrive.

Ionas is a charming hotel. It is located right in Old Town Chania along a cobbled path, a five minute walk to the old Venetian port. Everything is meticulous. The room is not huge, but very nice with nice amenities (slippers, toiletries), and there were towels and mints on the bed when I arrived. There is also a nice outdoor...

We stayed in July for 7 nights in a junior suite. The room was beautifully clean with quality fittings and super comfortable beds. Our room was at the front above reception and had a Jacuzzi bath with shower over. We read previous reviews prior to travelling so knew to notify the hotel of our arrival time in advance and we...
