We were in Chania for 3 nights. It was also our base for the Samaria Gorges. We had opted for the Aisha suite, the only one with a small terrace, which was very pleasant. We were seduced by the welcome, the cleanliness, the charm and the freshness of the room on our arrival, but also Alexandra's spontaneous proposal to prepare our breakfast package (early departure for the gorges) as well as a lunch. very welcome package! What to say about the breakfasts... and the kindness and precious advice of Andreas in terms of restaurants... Finally, a precious detail.. the private car park.. not negligible in Chania.. In short, we will return!

We experienced service and care beyound expectations. Alex made us feel very special and welcome. And the style and the details of everything. Furniture, dishes, art, decoration. So unique and beautiful. Location is great and there is still quietness and privacy. Breakfast at the yard stopped the time. Thank you Alex. Free private parking was a big bonus.

This is the most wonderful boutique hotel we have ever had! Alex is an incredibly amazing host, creating an atmosphere where you feel like royalty. The custom breakfast in the adorable courtyard each morning starts your day in Chania on the perfect note. The suites are beautifully decorated with antiques, and the beds and sheets were the most comfortable we had in Greece. I would give this experience a 10/10!

Alex and Andreas were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was outstanding and the room was extremely well decorated and clean. Parking was provided which is a huge bonus. Alex was very helpful setting up our hike of Samaria Gorge and providing lunch. The location is only a few blocks from the harbor which was perfect. The courtyard was very charming. Check-in and check-out were contactless and a breeze.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. It is located in a peaceful side street which is completely quiet at night, yet only three minutes' walk from the bustling Venetian Harbour. Our room was large, airy and charming, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Breakfast in the little courtyard was pure heaven. Alex and Andreas could not have been better hosts -- warm, friendly and knowledgeable about Chania and Crete, but never intrusive. We recommend La Maison Ottomane very highly indeed.

Alex and Andreas, were extremely helpful even before we arrived, assisting with transport, tours, massages and recommendations for eating out. Our room (Aisha) was such a pleasure to stay in - extremely comfortable bed, exquisite decor and a private outdoor balcony where we started and ended our days. The breakfast is sublime - from the beautiful plates and service ware used to the home made jams, marmalade’s, fruit salad and specialty dishes (omelettes, French toast etc) . Alex should create a recipe book as her cooking and presentation are divine. (I’ll pre-order :)) La Maison is the perfect oasis of calm, quiet, beautifully styled accommodation that is rare to find and Alex and Andreas are perfect hosts. If you visit Chania stay here, it’s a rare and wonderful find that ww will be returning to.

Wonderful location run by wonderful people. Only 3 rooms, but they are very special. You are treated like Queen and King. The welcome, the fantastic room and the amazing breakfast in the garden under a palm tree. Highly recommended!

Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more, and the hosts Andreas and Alex were the kindest. They even drove us to the local police station to retrieve our license plates! Word of advice to any travelers, do not park at a bus stop :)

We couldn’t rate this place highly enough. We choose it as one of two places we stayed on Crete for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Great location out of the hubbub of the harbour (would not recommend staying there) but a 3 min walk to everything. Also close to cafes/ restaurants not on the harbour - cheaper and tastier (we recommend the Chop!). We had the Constantinople room and loved it being on 2 levels. They’ve thought of all the little details and we spent many wonderful mornings eating their delicious breakfasts in the terrace. The parking is also so helpful - a tight squeeze but that’s staying in an old town! We were able to use it as a base to travel around various beaches (we loved Stavros).

Response from Andreas Romanos, Owner at La Maison Ottomane

The parking is indeed a squeeze, but then we are the only hotel to have our own in the old town.... a special blessing in summer when all the city's parkings become full fast. In any case, we re glad you enjoyed so much else at the hotel. It always feels a privilege to contribute to something as special as a honeymoon and we are grateful for the warmth you brought with you. More please.... Andreas

Everything is superb. Alex and Andreas always asking what they can do. I mean always. Ròom, wifi, shower, room amenities location breakfast all perfect. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in our 35 years of travels. Had beach towels and gave us breakfast in our room on day of our early departure.
