We stayed here during our very first visit to Chania a few years ago. The staff was truly amazing! They were friendly, helpful and charismatic. The location is fantastic! We also loved the breakfast.
Our room, however, was small and old. The bathroom was really...More
I have stayed at three different, fine, hotels on the Chania waterfront, but my search is over. The Amphora (a redone old house on the hill with a restaurant of the same name below) is absolutely the most comfortable place to stay in Chania. Big,...More
My dad and I got rabbit stiffado, and it tasted pretty mediocre, if not bland. The rice especially so.
The calamari was okay, better than your Chinese restaurant, but not as good as Steki’s.
The cake was pretty good though.
I stayed here a couple of times and loved it. The lady was very nice and we had a room with a view over the whole beautiful old harbour. It was very romantic and the Hotel and rooms were lovely. I would recommend it. As...More

Hello and thank you for your interest. This hotel is a renovated 13th century building, and as such has 7 rooms at ground level, 9 on the 1st level, and the balance on the 3rd and 4th floors. There is an excellent balcony room on the 1st floor (Room 11) with only 1 set of stairs to contend with, the balcony overlooks the harbor and has a shower and a queen size bed. If you like, there is a suite with no stairs involved (Room 6), also with a fabulous balcony directly on the port with a magnificent 4-poster bed and bath instead of shower. I urge you to contact the hotel directly for more information. Hope this answers your question, and hope to see you soon in person!

"We had the upper floor suite with a downstairs WC/Shower - it was huge and had a view of the port!"
