What a beautiful property Villa Andromeda is! Formerly, the German Embassy, the villa is immaculately and tastefully furnished with charming and authentic old-world elegance. The rooms are luxurious (but affordable) and a joy to stay in and the views from the balcony (one of the places where you can take breakfast) are absolutely stunning; especially at sunset. Proprietress, Athena is... More

We didn’t want to be in the centre of town but didn’t want to have to get a taxi or take the car either so this place was perfect. A 20 minute stroll along the path by the sea gets you to the harbour where there are lots of restaurants. It is also on the quieter end of them. Walking... More

Villa Andromeda is a gem! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will love to come back. The whole team made our days here remarkable. The small hotel is overviewing the bay of Chania, what you can enjoy having a georgous Greek breakfast on the terrace. The rooms are airy, the beds very comfortable and the amenities are from... What a historically fascinating place with a phenomenal staff and owners. The proprieter is Athina, a wonderful woman with a wealth of knowldege on the area, things to do, restaurants to enjoy and more. The building was formerly the German embassy, and was purchased by the family of Athina' husband after WWI. There are marble spiral staircases both in the... More

The beautiful neoclassical mansion dominates panoramic see views from the front and a lovely garden with a big swimming pool at the back side. The suite we booked was exactly as discribed, spacius and beautifuly furnished and decorated. Breakfast is served by two extremely friendly and smiling ladies depending on your wishes and personal choices wherever and whenever you desire... More

We loved every minute of our stay at Villa Andromeda. Athena and Anna treated us like family with suggestions and advice as to what to do and where to eat. The suite was roomy and well-furnished with a wrap around terrace overlooking the Mediterranean and the large, landscaped pool provided shade when required. We felt at home throughout our stay.

Charming suites and personal service make this hotel stand out. For many of the reasons listed in other reviews, we will remember this hotel for a long time. The building was once an embassy and it maintains an elegance and grace with beautiful marble and painted ceilings. We owe special thanks to Athena, who provided us directions and recommendations and... More

Thank you Barbara and Athena for the most wonderful holiday, you made us so welcome. What a beautiful hotel, fantastic location and stunning room with everything you could want. Normally i wouldn't have pointed out the following issues, but for an hotel this price/category I'm afraid I have to, and this have a negative impact on the overall mark: run out of gel and it wasn't replaced. Water from the minibar wasn't replaced either (and I am not speaking here about the bottle of water offered upon arrival, but... More

Situated about a 15 minute walk outside the harbor. But you won't care when you're having breakfast on the balcony. Or by the pool in the private garden. Lovely building. Amazing breakfast service. Wonderful staff. Fantastic view of the bay. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the bed was very hard.
