Our Hotel, an imposing, tall, 600 year old building, has gathered a rich history over the passing of the centuries. During the days of Turkish Rule, the building housed members of high ranking Turkish military who made many changes to the buildings architecture - even built a Hamam. In the garden and next to that, a room to secure their slaves (where you can still see the metallic rings nailed to the walls). In the beginning of the 19th Century, the building was used as a French embassy and later was inhabited by the great Greek political figure, Eleftherios Venizelos, who also used it as his political offices until his move to Athens, when he took power as Prime Minister of Greece. The Hotel has 10 beautiful rooms - the 2 of which are maisonettes - fully restored and traditionally decorated to provide our guests with an especially warm and welcome feeling. All rooms have modern conveniences (WC, telephone, TV, mini-bar, air-conditioning and Central Heating in winter) ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great spot, on a quiet little street just off the main walkway along the port, close but still separated from all the crowds of tourists. Wonderful room, ours was on top floor with a great view of the rooftops and the Venetian harbour. Staff were great, extremely friendly and

A wonderful, small, characterful hotel in a surprisingly quiet little byway, yet only a few steps from the port and the bustling old town lanes. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, well-equipped bedroom with a very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Note that this

We stayed ten nights in this well-managed, comfortable hotel just a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of the harbour front. Our first-floor room was light and airy and very quiet at night. The excellent staff were very knowledgeable about the island and helped us to

Great place to stay in Chania
Dear Mrs Kerrie, Thank you for contacting us. Our hotel is in the old town in Chania and there is no car parking of the hotel, but as you checked yourself, there is a public car parking nearby, which we use a lot.Although,it's not in a building with cameras etc.We usually suggest it,nothing bad ever happened, but we cannot guarantee 100%. We remain on your disposal for any further information. Best Regards, Stella
