My wife and I decided to go to Chania for our 25th Anniverssary trip. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Located in a great location where you can get to everywhere in Chania with good restaurants. Highly recommended to check this place out.
We stayed 7 nights at this hotel and everything was very good, starting with the staff (very kind and helpful!!) and ending with the rooms. - the location is great, you are at a 20 min walk from city center - rooms - are spacious, beds are comfortable, we also had a small balcony with partial sea view - on the last floor, you have a jacuzzi where you can relax (there are certain hours when it works) and also sunbath or drink a glass of wine. - breakfast- you had almost everything and you can eat it on the terrace, which is very nice - you also have gym facilities - you have parking My only suggestions would be: - room coffee - you can facilitate each room with a small coffee machine - maybe have a better coffee for breakfast?😊 I know that we also have the possibility to buy instead of drinking that one, so in the end it was fine, but just saying.…
We enjoyed a lot our stay in this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was big and clean. Breakfast was great with a lot warm traditional specialites. The garden is very beautiful. Recommended
I have stayed at the Halepa in many occasions ad it remains my go to hotel in Chania. The staff are always happy to please, the accommodation is super ad the position away from the centre is ideal. Breakfast on the terrace is a highlight and their sucked lunches are excellent.
This is simply one of the loveliest, coziest boutique hotels I have had the pleasure to book, visit and enjoy every minute of my stay there. My husband, my daughter and I travelled from the UK to Crete in the end of July 2022 and spent a week at Halepa Hotel - it is essentially an old, historic building with a very aristocratic yet unpretentious feel (with some lovely paintings and sculptures to decorate the lounge and corridors). The room wasn't very spacious but it was air-conditioned, clean and the staff - very polite and eager to listen to our requests and assist us in any way. The food was absolutely delicious - one day we had to wake up at 5 am to go on a trip (by boat) to Santorini. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that someone was already waiting for us in the dining hall to ask what we would like for breakfast as well as to provide three beautifully packed lunch boxes we took with us on the trip (expected to last approximately 15-16 hours). Also, my birthday was on the day after we arrived and the staff was very courteous - they sent a signed card, wine and fresh fruits to my room and even made the extra effort to find someone to congratulate me in my mother tongue (Bulgarian). I strongly recommend Halepa!!…
halepa hotel was perfect for our stay in august this year. The staff was great and also the view from the top. The breakfast buffet was sooo good. I would definitely recommend to stay here when planning a trip to Chania, Greece.
I stayed just one night but could have stayed longer in this classic hotel. I loved how they kept as much decor from the embassy. I wish the weather had cooperated so I could use the large patio and jacuzzi. I did use the fitness room.
Great hospitality, flexible with the room booking, easy and secure parking, fast wifi and nice breakfast buffet. The people working there made everything possible for a nice stay. Enjoy the nice garden or the terrace with sea view.
We booked the hotel at short notice for our last night in Chania and were very impressed with the hotel itself on arrival. We were made very welcome by Erato, who gave us lots of information about places to eat and transport options and was very patient with my schoolgirl Greek. Our room was beautiful, the bed one of the most comfortable we’d had on our holiday. Breakfast in the garden was varied and satisfying and we really appreciated that we were able to spend time on the roof terrace after checkout, as our flight home was not scheduled until late night. Having spent the evening in Chania (and a great meal at the beautiful Ela) we were especially grateful again to the lovely Erato who booked us an airport shuttle and allowed us to use palatial shower facilities and fresh towels before we left. We would definitely recommend the Halepa Hotel, and would like to thank Erato particularly for her professionalism, patience and kindness.…
I had a really pleasant, unfortunately short, stay at this hotel. I enjoyed the old style charm paired with modern facilities, and the kindness of the staff. They went out of their way to provide me with breakfast in spite of a very early departure. Nice area of Chania and the new archeological museum is right behind to the hotel. Parking available at the hotel.
