Casa Delfino was 5 stars all the way. Impeccably clean and comfortable rooms. Outstanding and well-trained staff. The location of the hotel is perfect - in the center of town within walking distance of everything. One of my top hotel stays of all time. They are very prompt in email replies and helped a lot with recommendations and reservations. Thank you to the Cas Delfino staff!
I've been dreaming about this small boutique hotel since I was student at the University in Chania. I booked a room for 2 days on September 2020. I arrived very early (6 hours before check-in time) and went to drink a coffee at the hotel. When they found out that I booked a room, they gave me the room for free from early morning. The hotel is amazing, like a fairy tale. The staff is the best. Courteous and efficient, but most of all they will exceed your expectations because they are smart and more friendly than you can imagine. Although it was during the Covid-19 pandemic, they were almost full and they were implementing all safety protocols.
This beautiful hotel has excellent service. It is near the harbor, restaurants, and shops, but is quiet and very comfortable. The staff goes out of it's way to make you happy. We had complementary bottles of wine on the rooftop deck which was wonderful. We had a lovely suite with a nice balcony, but there were a lot stairs....so if you have any mobility issues ask for a lower floor! HIghly recommend!
We had a wonderful 5-night stay at this hotel. Pros: Beautiful room (1 bedroom sea view suite, Room 16), on 3rd floor; amazing advice from staff on almost anything. Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate you. They serve a nice breakfast buffet in their shaded courtyard; masks and wearing plastic gloves (provided) are needed for you to serve yourself from the buffet. No hot choices at the buffet, but they have a large selection of items. and we loved having cappuccinos every morning. They provided nice beach towels free of charge for our many beach adventures. Cons: From our Room 16, we had very slow to almost no wi-fi connection. If you rent a car, there is a very little public parking nearby. This is not the fault of the hotel; we were told that the creation of bicycle lanes has taken away many parking spaces. We ended up parking in the municipal parking garage on our last night. A big thank you to Stefanos who took the golf cart to bring us and our luggage to the garage after we had checked out! Again, great service. It is certainly not the hotel's fault for the parking situation, but something to keep in mind if staying in the Old Town with a rental car (which I still highly recommend despite our parking adventures).…
What a wonderful hotel. The service was excellent and the staff so friendly. We absolutely enjoyed the breakfast in the courtyard every morning. Stefanos and Georgia we’re so pleasant and helpful. The rooftop terrace what is exceptional and we went there several nights. The location of this hotel is perfect. Margarita whose family has owned the property for six generations was so exceptionally warm And friendly. She absolutely wanted to make sure that every guest was having a good time in The hotel and visiting the city. The guests at the hotel we’re also quite friendly. This was a great place to stay and we appreciate the experience we had at the hotel.
