Very nice place - with a view to a Chania old tow harbour. A lot of tavernas around this hotel but we slept very well, there was no noise in a room. Big balcony where you can take a step to the roof. Very very nice host - very helpful. In the room there were some treats: cookies, chewing gum,... More

Stoa Rooms ticks all the boxes- from the hospitable host (Yianni) to the location & views of the old harbour from rooms 1&2 via small balcony, car space (must advise you are travelling by car as there is only one car space) rooms cleaned daily at a reasonable hour, air-conditioning, only 5 rooms in total, and a great rate!

Wanted to stay 1 night in Chania near the centre on a budget & this was perfect. The spotless room had a single & double bed, kettle, fridge, coffee, lots of teas, milk & water. The room included aircon, safe, hairdryer & a modern shower room with toiletries. There were little extras like sweets, biscuits & home made raki from... More

We spent three nights at Stoa and would highly recommend it. The price is unbeatable, especially considering how close it is to the harbor. We loved the location, being able to walk everywhere in Chania very easily. The room was basic but spacious and clean with a kitchenette. And the owner was friendly and helpful.

A couple of minutes' walk from Hania's famed harbour-front, this is an absolutely brilliant accommodation that also provides superb value for money. We arrived pretty late in the evening, but Yiannis was around to receive us and get us settled. Our room had a nice balcony, a small kitchenette - overall, a small but well-contained studio for a very comfortable... More

We stayed 3 nights in Stoa rooms. The rooms are simple, and basic, but beautifully kept and incredibly clean. Our room was cleaned so expertly, that when doing our final sweep before leaving, we found that some of our clothes had even been hung up in the wardrobe for us! The location is fantastic, literally around the corner from the... More

We arrived 1 day earlier than scheduled in Chania and unfortunately there wad no vacancies for that night (we had booked for the following 2). Iannis called his acquaintance to find us a roof for the night (it was past 9:30PM), stayed with us while we were waiting for our new host and even offered us a snack. The day... More

We arrived at Chania in early September, and were greeted very warmly by the host, who even offered us ice-creams, and answered all our queries. The room is at an excellent location, very close to the port and the old city, clean and very tidy. It is well equipped and meticulously cleaned whilst you are there. The only downside was... More
