Fantastic location overlooking the port with views towards town and lake too. We stayed in a honeymoon suite on the first floor (definitely worth the small fee we paid to upgrade as not all rooms have a balcony). The balcony isn't huge but had 2 bucket style rocking chairs and a table, just enough for a spot of people watching. The room was large with fridge, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, tea a coffee making facilities, a small Sofa bed and one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Despite being on the roadside and some other reviews mentioning a noisy bar next door, we slept really well. I did use earplugs as don't do great with road noise, but they also drown out my husbands snoring! On arrival we were greeted by Damose who carried our cases up the steps, gave us some lemonade and a map, also recommending some restaurants and beaches. He also booked us the best table at Gioma meze restaurant for our final night. The shower room was small but no issue, the sinks were located in the hotel room rather than the shower room instead. The room was cleaned daily and towels also changed daily. Breakfast was served at a beachside cafe jut 2-3 mins walk , choice was of bacon, egg and beans with toast, or greek breakfast of fruit and yogurt, there was also a toast and jam option. You also got tea or coffee and a slice of cake, not amazing but perfectly sufficient. There are at least 2 ways to get to the cafe, either turn right and follow the coast road to the beach or turn left and then left again just after the crepe and ice cream cafe and follow this road to the beach - the 2nd one is shorter. Could I pick fault? Probably if I tried but I won't as we had a very good holiday in a fabulous location with a very comfy room and friendly staff. We would definitely return.

It was a trip back in time. After a long time, I was back in Agios Nikolaos. We chose this hotel because of its unbeatable location by the harbor. And we didn't regret it. The arrival: Extremely friendly welcome from the receptionist. The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast service was punctual at the requested time, breakfast on the large balcony high above the harbor was an experience. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed daily on request and bed linen changed after three days. We were happy to follow the employee's tips on the best restaurants. Overall, we can say that we felt real Greek hospitality here, even at the end of a season that was stressful for everyone. We were made to feel welcome as guests. And when a small mishap happened, it was remedied immediately. We can only recommend this hotel. Thanks to the team

Charming hotel, super helpful owner and staff, a great stay. Had the best night sleep away from my husband and kids in the honeymoon suite! Local food recommendations were great and the location is perfect for walking around to everything in the area.

If you are a night owl, you can request the honeymoon suite located high up right next to the night bar on the adjoining roof terrace. Either you dance on your terrace in this “Suite”, or you take a pill to fall asleep… After informing the manager of this major problem, we decided to leave a day before. The other suite proposed by the manager is on the same level as the open-air night bar. So the change would not have changed anything. We do not recommend this establishment which, despite the rather positive reviews, did not allow us to be serene and rested; a height for a vacation. Additionally, the bathroom smelled damp and the door could not close properly. The window of this water feature opens directly onto the bar… What a disappointment to have had to endure this major nuisance. We will therefore not return to this beautiful residence. Welcome to the hearing impaired, night owls until 2 a.m. and people with heavy sleep.

Super location right on the water, and right near shopping, and the men at reception were both helpful and kind… However, our room had no view of ANYTHING even though we were right next to the water.💧 The room had a few problems: as a three-person suite it was just a regular room with a cot added. It was very tight for the three of us, The toilet 🚽 never worked properly throughout our stay. We had a small terrace that we had to share with two other rooms on one side, and the other side of the room faced out to the common area, so it was quite loud at night. At least it was fairly cheep 🤔

Booked through TUI for a two week stay in Agios Nikolaos, I picked the hotel based on good reviews.
The room we got did not match the description in any way. There may be much nicer rooms at the hotel, but this was the standard room for "only" $150 per night. Size maybe 150 square feet without room for a table, so breakfast was served outside on a stairway. Bathroom is also tiny, work moldy caulking, loose fixtures and No water pressure. The adjoining outside dance club provides free blasting nightly music until 2 am that requires good ear plugs if any sleeping is planned. On occasion, it is drowned out by the party crowd. On the upside, the location is good, but you should be able to find much cheaper options in better locations in town.

This hotel was amazing. If you like authentic boutique hotels then this is the place for you. The decor is traditional and both the rooms and communal areas are decorated beautifully. All staff were so friendly, from reception to staff to housekeepers. We want to say a special thank you to the young female receptionist with long dark hair (sorry I can’t remember her name). She was so friendly and kind and would chat to us whenever we saw her. Housekeeping was great. The room was always cleaned to a high standard.
Breakfast is in a small cafe (Buenos) around a 5 minute walk away on the beach front, once again this was amazing. The location, food and staff here were all great!
The location of the hotel was also great, in the centre of everything. The only one downside was on the weekend there was loud music playing from a rooftop bar next door until the early hours of the morning. We were quite shocked at how loud it was the fist night, but ear plugs did the trick. For the rest of the week it wasn’t an issue (they don’t to appear to play so loud).
If you hire a car you can park in the harbour area for free which is a 3 minute walk.
Thanks again for a great holiday. We will return.

The hotel was located harbor side in Venetian style. A friendly host greeted and received us at the small courtyard on the first floor. I enjoyed the iced lemonade and cool towel on the hanging hammock swing chair under a tree while the host provided information of the area. Our room was on the first floor, with a balcony facing the cute harbor, on top of a bank. The room was cool though small, with industrial-look concrete walls and floor and exposed wooden beams. Clothes could be hanged on the pipe rail. Refrigerator, safe, iron and ironing board, wine glasses, electric kettle available. Oak bath products. Shower room had beautiful patterned tiles. Complimentary chilled white wine to be enjoyed on the balcony. The only drawback was perhaps the noises audible from the rooms next door and from the street and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the lobby. Breakfast could be ordered and would be served in the room at 7 euro per person but we didn’t try it. Free public parking area was 5 minutes-walk away. Best option for the low season, very cost-effective.

Very interesting cozy centrally located hotel. Warning, many stairs. Also must be careful to get in writing, confirmation of the exact room you have been promised. We were a couple, and a friend, so needed 2 rooms, next to each other preferably. Why we booked early. We booked the 2 honeymoon suites with balcony on the top floor, 1 year before arrival. 2 weeks before our arrival we emailed hotel to inform them of our arrival time and to confirm our reservation for the 2 honeymoon suites with balcony on the top floor. We received confirmation email confirming our reservation for the 2 honeymoon suites with balcony and that they were on the top floor. The day we arrived we, the couple were given as confirmed, one of the honeymoon suites with balcony on the top floor. Our friend was put in a room in another wing of the hotel in a room with no balcony. She couldn't have been any further away from us the way the hotel is setup. We immediately talked to the receptionist, showed her our emails confirming our reservation and that our friend did not get the honeymoon suite with balcony on the top floor that she had booked, paid for, and was confirmed multiple times by hotel. She told us the owner would talk to us in the morning. In the morning he offered to move our friend to the room down the hall to ours, however it was not the honeymoon suite, as they had given it to a longer term renter. Nothing we could do but accept, at least our friend was close to us and happy with the new room. He also gave us free breakfast for the last 2 days of our stay. We appreciate his effort in trying to right this wrong, but does not change the fact that he did not honour our confirmed reservation in order to accept a longer term renter.

Very nice structure but a little dated, many small things to review: -some sockets should be secured -the very nice canopy bed but the central legs do not rest on the ground making the hole in the centre - the balcony is too small and furnished so that you can't stand outside - the proximity to the disco terrace forces you to keep the windows closed - the cleaning is not done thoroughly, there is dirt in the corners and limescale on the shower and sink. For a few days it's fine.

It was a typical Greek bathroom. It had a handheld shower as it wouldnt stay on the wall and there was a curtain. ptessure and temperature were good though.
As it was high up there was little noise from the street below. There was a bar across the bay that could be a bit noisy but earplugs solved all these little problems. The advantages of the location, the lovely helpful staff and the delightful town far outweigh any disadvantages. This Greece and it has its funny quirks. so much nicer than a 5* all inclusive.
There are more places to choose from in the Agios Nikolaos area.
