We stayed in Porto Maltese for 4 nights and were very satisfied. On arrival Damos helped us carry our luggage to the courtyard on top of the stairs. As we arrived before the official check in time, he gave us a map so we could get to know the area and gave us a ring when our room was ready. He also gave us tips on which restaurants to eat in. We did try all three of them (after checking reviews in Tripadvisor) and had a delicious meal in each one. When leaving, Damos gave us a tip about a stunning beach in Elounda (our next destination). There is nothing negative to say about Porto Maltese, just that the bed was too hard for me but I guess that’s a personal preference. At the time of our stay, Porto Maltese was full despite the fact that not many people went on holiday this year. It just shows how popular Porto Maltese is.

We arrived without reservation & the staff were really kind to us. They helped us with reservations & suggestions for our trip and it was all great. The rooms were super clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the room was cutely decorated with a beautiful view.

We stayed for 14 nights in September in a Honeymoon Suite and it was amazing. The room was so light and airy and had stunning views of the sea and little port. Loved watching the little fishing boats go about their daily routine. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very close to all bars, restaurants and a choice of beaches within a short walking distance. Fridge, safe, wine glasses, kettle and tea/coffee supplied - even an ironing board and iron! Large shower which was great. Staff very helpful and sorted our a couple of minor niggles we had with our room. In the evening candle lanterns are placed around the reception area and stairwell giving the property a lovely warm romantic atmosphere. We really enjoyed out stay at this property and have already booked to go back for a couple of weeks this year.

The hotel was located harbor side in Venetian style. A friendly host greeted and received us at the small courtyard on the first floor. I enjoyed the iced lemonade and cool towel on the hanging hammock swing chair under a tree while the host provided information of the area. Our room was on the first floor, with a balcony facing the cute harbor, on top of a bank. The room was cool though small, with industrial-look concrete walls and floor and exposed wooden beams. Clothes could be hanged on the pipe rail. Refrigerator, safe, iron and ironing board, wine glasses, electric kettle available. Oak bath products. Shower room had beautiful patterned tiles. Complimentary chilled white wine to be enjoyed on the balcony. The only drawback was perhaps the noises audible from the rooms next door and from the street and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the lobby. Breakfast could be ordered and would be served in the room at 7 euro per person but we didn’t try it. Free public parking area was 5 minutes-walk away. Best option for the low season, very cost-effective.

Superb accommodation in a boutique hotel. Spectacular views, comfortable bed and we loved our terrace for sundowners. Warm welcome with drinks, easy registration and a chilled bottle of wine for our room. Wonderful staff who can't do enough to make sure the everything is perfect for you. Perfect breakfast delivery with our vegetarian requests accounted for. We loved it so much we're returning in a few days with friends. Its going to be an annual holiday haunt from the USA. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience.
