My niece and I booked the smaller room, and it was delightful with two twin beds. Yes, a little tight, but a wonderful balcony in a private courtyard makes it very cozy. The room in the back of the hotel where we stayed are very quiet. The host is wonderful and we had very warm conversation. He was very gracious... More

We spent a very enjoyable night here while exploring Delphi. George and his wife were very gracious hosts. The hotel was within walking distance of Delphi and several local restaurants. Breakfast was excellent as well.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Pitho Rooms is right in centre of Delphi next to many restaurants/bars, a 3 minute walk to the bus station and a 15 minute walk to Ancient Delphi. The owners Vicky, George & family were extremely friendly and helpful and always looking to chat to you. Our room (which was very reasonably priced) was... More

George and Vicky run an amazing small hotel. In context the small town of Delphi mainly caters to summer visitors to the Delphi ruins and museum. I didn't see any large chain hotels. Pitho is central, an easy walk to the ruins and all the shops and restaurants. The room was good, comfy bed, air con and door to balcony... More

We toured Europe for a month, staying in over a dozen places, and this was the hotel where we felt the least welcome. The owner was helpful with unloading bags, but we had to park a long way away from the hotel. The owner expressed interest in making other guests happy which seemed to be to our exclusion. The stairs... More

The owner was perhaps the most hospitable individual I have ever seen any hotel worldwide. The location of the hotel is right across the street from the edge of the cliff and next to several restaurants and immediate shopping. Under a mile to the ancient ruins. View from our room.

Hospitality already started outside the place with owner's welcome and parking directions. It continues throughout the stay with discussions on various topics. Room was rather small but still sufficient to accommodate us. Hot water in the bath need quite some time to arrive. Breakfast is served in a nicely built area and offers a nice selection. Located in the center... More

This is a great place to stay in order to see the Delphi ruins. You can walk to the ruins and museum from the hotel. The owners are super and do everything to make you feel at home. They can also give you tips on how to order your visit. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this is not for... More

We were impressed with the beautiful location and the friendly service from George and his family. The room was spacious and comfortable. George gave us excellent suggestions for lunch and dinner - with spectacular views of the valley of olive trees below. We loved Delphi's archeological sites and museum and appreciated George's knowledge of the area.

It was hard to find pleasant hotel in Delphi for a reasonable price. All the places I've seen were dusty and stinky rooms of questionable quality with lazy owners talking too much and being offensive. However in Pitho it was different. It's a family hotel, with very nice owners. They were really flexible about the price of the room for... More
