Is a really nice place the people how work there help u in whatever you need and a really really good ubication for bus or metro. The rooms are big and clean. If you are only one day is the best option, is 20 minutes from the center of Athens

A total waste of money for this poor quality. Towels and sheets had stains on them. Forks and knives not very well washed. Only soap provided in the bathroom. I can't believe they charge this much for this hotel. Only good thing is it's very close to the port. But I definitely prefer to take a taxi next time rather... More

Pretty average place travelled on my own and chose it because it was close to the port. WiFi and close to the port were the only good things about this place. Taxi couldn't find it even after I gave the address :(

It has what you need. It's fairly clean, there is airconditioning which is important in Pireus in the summertime and has an elevator!! The best thing about Ionion is that there is a 100m walk to the ferries, but it is also really cheap - considering.

I read most comments regarding this hotel and I found that this hotel is very good, clean and in a very good location. I dislike people who just write rubbish comments for nice places. The room was very clean, the bed was really very comfortable and the shower was perfect with hot and cold water running, A/C working perfectly well... More

No mistake there - neither fancy nor glamorous, with simplest possible rooms and basic bathroom but, only reason to stay, just across the street from Port of Piraeus, departing point for ferries to Greek Islands. So whatever you have an early morning departure or very late arrival, it is a convenient place for few hours nap. Rooms are clean and... More

This place is a sorry excuse for a hotel, seeing is believing,,I have stayed in hostels that would be streets ahead of this place,no light in the bathroom, the shower consisted of a rubber hose attached to the taps, and the bed,it was diabolical, springs sticking in every part of your body, the fridge had white paper sellotaped to it to cover up the dirt,we... Problems with Internet. Due to my work it was a crucial thing for me to have an Internet. It was a first thing I asked for. Having problem with connection, I didn't receive any help form hotel personal. I was treated very rudely and impolitely.

The Ionion is a ery reasonable hotel, clean rooms, affordable, and the location is perfect for all boats to the islands. The airco works OK. We paid only EUR 40 for a double room. Nothing fancy, but ideal for one night.
