Great modern hotel. Excellent location!!! i would stay there again if ever in athens. It is very conveniently located. Most historical sites are a 15 minute walk. Excellent restaurants and shopping district just outside the hotel.
Absolute perfect place for a family of five to spend two days in Athens and shake off jet lag. Spacious room and great staff. Excellent walking location to everything in the center city including the Acropolis. Perfect for starting a Greek vacation
Excellent staff, very clean and modern ,very convenient. I will deffinetly stay here again ,breakfast was very good, had a little of everything. Very safe area ,close to all maine attractions. Once again I have to praise the staff for their service!
We had a 2 week trip in Greece starting and ending in Athens. Only regret is that we did not stay here both times as our first hotel was the opposite of perfect. We found MET34 last minute for our 1 night stay before our flight home. The location, space and staff were outstanding!! I cannot stress to you enough the space and location. The space is much larger than what you get in the states, much less Europe. We had the 2 br, 2bath suite with a living room and kitchen. This could easily absorb a family of 6. Location is right in the middle of everything that you will want to see. And the staff were super helpful.! If/when we return to Athens, this is where we will try to stay. The only thing that I would take points away is the Air Conditioning. It did not cool off like our other hotel rooms and AirBNBs during our time in Greece.…
Truly terrific stay. The hotel was clean, the pillows amazing and the staff is fantastic. Very grateful for their arrangement of taxi service to and from the airport which was prompt and reliable. They also went out of their way to make restaurant recommendations. The hotel is centrally located and yet quiet at night for sleep. The blackout shades were a nice touch.
We have stayed at the MET34 multiple times and we can’t wait to stay there again next time. We stayed in the Metropolis suite which was so perfect for 2 adults and 3 kids. It was clean, the staff were amazing, the room was so spacious and the location was perfect.
Excellent modern, niche hotel in a perfect location with breakfast included in room. Very accommodating staff and comfortable room for 5 of us. Walking to all sites -Plaka, Parthenon, tons of restaurants and shopping. We took train from airport to Syntagma Square and it is a short walk from there (5 min) on an adorable alleyway. Enjoyed seeing the buzzing Athen from the balcony. Would definitely recommend, esp. if traveling with a larger group.
The hotel is perfectly located--walking distance to so many things. The room was comfortable and air conditioned and the included breakfast was extremely generous. The best part was the staff, however. I emailed with many questions beforehand and they were so gracious and helpful with recommendations and arrangements. (want to know a safe place to run? here you go. Need a car? tour guide? no problem, done.) The front desk staff was so lovely and helpful once we arrived. I had accidentally asked for a tour on the wrong day--no problem, they swapped the date and got us a fantastic tour guide. They were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome and cared for. Pro tip: if you're coming from the US, bring some Trader Joe's chocolate peanut butter cups for them, i did and got them hooked and they can't find them there. :)…
My husband, our daughter and I stayed at this hotel in Athens after a few-night stay on a Greek island. We found the hotel to be spotless, the service wonderful, and our room was much larger than expected. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom with 2 king-sized beds. We were steps from excellent food, shopping, and historical sites. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and helpful and we loved talking with him about where to eat, how to get to different parts of town, etc. I suggest brining ear plugs for street noise at night - it is mild but you can hear it (we also had just come from a secluded location on an island where noise was not an issue so may have been a bit sensitive to the "city noise" of Athens at night. I would recommend this hotel for couples, families, etc. You won't have better service elsewhere or a more modern room.…
Our stay at Met 34 was lovely. First and foremost I would like to commend the wonderful staff for being so accommodating and helpful. The rooms are quite lovely, large ,very nice decor, comfy bed and spacious bathroom. And I always appreciate it when hotels provide bathrobes. The breakfast is delivered to your door every morning at your convenience and provides everything you could possibly want, multiple types of bread and pastries, meats cheeses cereals, fresh fruit jams fresh milk and amazing freshly squeezed orange juice. Just what you need to fuel up for the day, which is good because the other great thing about this hotel is it's location. It is in the Plaka district which is clean and beautiful and safe. It is close to all those sites you must see, ( you must check out the hourly changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier at Parliament) and it is wonderful to just wander around the neighbourhoods. Oh and close to shopping. We spend a week in Paris at the end of our trip so I thought I would save my shopping for there and regretted it. The shops here have some wonderful products at very good prices. Really wished I had bought the leather bags I saw at the market down by Monastiraki square. But again it is the wonderful staff who helped make this trip as fabulous as it was.…
