Your reception was an old aggressive guy with severe anger management issues! He doesn’t take responsibility for his mistakes when he assigned me a dormitory which already had 5 Cuban guests all to themselves with the promise that there will be no other guests joining them. Imagine the Cuban’s appalled glares and apprehensions when I walked in! Instead of salvaging the disastrous situation with those cubans guests; the unprofessional reception guy started to shout and chastised me instead! Blaming me for the situation! All I did was asked for a quieter dormitory and he turned it around and said it was my fault! He doesn’t take responsibility for his mistakes and shortcomings but instead shove it back to the guests or play victim to circumstances he created! He even has quarrels with the other guests like Conrad and the French guy named Lucas who were there that same night when they were having a nice dinner and quiet time when suddenly the reception guy confronted Lucas and the rest of the guests like a menacing vile thug with the hostel printed card warning them against alcohol consumption in the premises! Later, he even marched into our dormitory and shouted at Conrad, literally challenged him! He’s so disrespectful and disgraceful to all of us in the dormitory! NEED I ELABORATE FURTHER?!? Also! I didn’t leave the premises as I have paid for it but he cancelled my reservation on booking dot com and treated it as No Show! He is a total disgrace to the hospitality industry!!! Shouts, literally shouts at the top of his voice. A few patrons left after he challenged them! Will never graced this place again. I definitely don’t recommend this place unless you want your entire trip or day spoilt?!? DO NOT STAY HERE! There’re many nice hostels in Greece but this is NOT IT!

Great location: within walking distance to Akropolis and metro station, nice rooftop terrace and social room inside, very friendly and helpful staff, the perfect low-budget option for solo travelers to explore Athens, quiet safe neighbourhood (except of garbage truckin the early morning), kitchen and fridge that you can use (in non-covid times), nice tavernas nearby, also have three double rooms for a good price

In Thisios, close to Acropolis,Plaka and Monastiraki, quaintly decorated.Friendly staff.Lets dismiss some of the previous reviews- all rooms are spotless-kitchen is clean and funcionable unless you intend to perform heart surgery- the sheets are covered with a dust sheet so only when the guest arrives are the clean bed sheets exposed which are freshly laundered and stain free. The door, which is a double door only sticks if you attempt to open the wrong one. Only downside no tea or coffee provided during the day.Showers and toilets clean. Lovely roof top seating and bar area. Reccommended.

The people were nice and friendly. Location feels safe and is in a good spot for site seeing and metro. The kitchen needed a deep clean. Our sheets in the 6 bed dorm had many stains, which was very off-putting. We chose the room with aircon, but wouldn't recommend as there are no windows so it gets really stuffy and a bit smelly. Also the door doesn't open properly and gets stuck. Overall, would try our luck elsewhere next time. (Or if this is the cheapest you can find, choose the room with windows!)

Loved our little apartment here! We had the 'Master Sweet' and it literally had everything we needed. 3 nights here and we were able to get everywhere on foot. Nice little rooftop and common room. Friendly helpful staff. The other rooms looked very clean and modern

Friendly crew welcomes you in a good accommodation hostel : shared room had AC, you can use the kitchen and enjoy some fresh air up on the terrasse. Located in a small and quiet street near to the acropole, you are about 10min away from plaka by foot and 5min away a metro station.

I traveled by my self, Visited the place without any kind of expectations and because of that my experience were enhanced by far. Good sense of art, simplicity, and comfort with a combination of very pleasant and friendly people around you. I felt so much included! The owner herself is an amazingly impressive persona! you will definitely love her and her ways of kindness. P.s. Dissolve your expectations about everything and you will aquire the constant joy. Life isn't about the perfection and compassion, rather a fluent rhythm of new series of unknown experiences, from which we either grow and learn or simply suffer. It's your choice and only.

I am rating my experience in a private room though the dorms may not get the same rating. I booked the studio which had a small bedroom private bathroom and private kitchen. It was on the ground floor with no view but it was fine and comfortable. The staff and other guests were nice. The public kitchen is small. The lounge is decent as is the rooftop. It’s quite a funny social scene as some of the staff sleep on site and the have friends often with them in the hostel but all were very nice. The location is excellent very near the walking street that goes around the acropolis. There is also a nice supermarket and a bakery nearby.

This hostel is located maybe 15 minutes away from the Acropolis and in a nice neighborhood. I didn't use the kitchen and on the first night the rooms were really hot, because the AC wasn't working, but the hostel was cheap, really clean and the staff was helpful, so I have no complaints. I would stay there again.
