Ok.... let’s start with the positives! The staff are amazing 10/10 The beds are comfy 9/10 Pillows are great 9/10 We booked the room on the top floor (505) with the hot tub and the view of the Acropolis for 2 nights. Our flight got cancelled and we had to leave a day earlier so we tried to book the same room for the bonus extra night but it was already booked so we got a very big room with a big bed but a view of a wall for the first night. All good so far. We were quite excited to have the rooftop room with the hot tub until we got there! Most hotel pools in Athens close early October ....another reason we thought it would be fun to have a hot tub. Here come the negatives. Room - smaller Bed - smaller TV - to the side (before it was straight ahead) Hot tub useless!!!! Water pressure was shocking. We gave up trying to fill it because it was talking SO long AND it didn’t do anything. No jets of water so it was basically a big bath on the balcony! The radio worked though. It was also on a bit of a slope. There was ZERO privacy as the balcony faced an office or apartment building. There are curtains to the side but it would have been good if they could be moved to the front to block the view from across the road. Needless to say we did not use it at all even though it was that feature that made us book it. I went to reception and told the fabulous receptionist how disappointed we were with the room/hot tub. She offered us a different room that was enormous but it faced a wall. So we decided to stay where we were. She gave us a bottle of Prosecco as a gesture of apology which was lovely. The bedside table was on a slant and I caught my vodka & coke just before it hit the floor. Didn’t mention this as I propped my suitcase under it to hold it up. The bathroom was lovely, big shower and good water pressure. The safe in the cupboard is not attached to anything so could get taken away. The fridge was quite noisy too. We would absolutely stay in this hotel again (out of summer season) .....but would ask for a room with a balcony (no hot tub required!)

Just arrived, booked a non refundable room only to be told that the roof terrace is not open and neither is the restaurant. No where did it mention that this was not the case, otherwise we would have booked somewhere else. Completely rubbish, awful customer services for not apologising either

We had 6 nights at this hotel in February- March 2020, the hotel is nicely located close to the Greek parliament. We got a large and clean room, spectacular view from the rooftop bar. A lot of shops and cafes in the area. The hotel served a good breakfast, but all the food was served cold every day. The rooftop bar has a lot of unused potential, not open on Monday. The rest of the week it was only open from 16:00, doesn’t serve any food & some of the staff seemed to be more occupied with friends than serving customers. The air conditioning was not as expected, apparently they had a central heating system during winter season and a central cooling system during summer season, meaning we were not able to adjust the temperature individually in our room by any other means than opening or closing the window! However due to insects and noise from the street we had to keep the window closed at night. The hotel is poorly sound insulated and in general it’s more like a 3-star hotel.

This was a great hotel, but it could be so much more. The curtains had spots and there were Lots of scratches on the interior that ruined the impression a little bit. But all in all, very pleased! Be sure to check out the restaurant and bar at the top, amazing view over acropolis.
