Located in a great postion to explore Athens by foot - close to the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis itself, the Plaka area and many restaurants and cafes. Also a 20min tram ride from the beach. The hotel is quite small and is rather quirky in design/decor style. We were on the 4th floor in a modern black/white room (with four... More

Stayed 2 nights there after coming back from Santorini to Athens. We were family of 3 (2 adults + 1 teen) and they gave us a family room, which was really spacious. There were 2 twin beds in the main room, and a loft with 2 single beds. Being in the old part of the city, the building was an... More

We were lucky to stay at this hotel for 7 days. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the most comfortable bed I have slept in at any hotel. Room was clean and well maintained and spacious, but then it was a delux room. Well positioned for the main attractions. Comfortable walking distance... More

Okay for an Athens hotel in this price point, a good value! It is dated in it's styling and it's on the main street, so noisy. But it's within 2 blocks of the Acropolis Museum and Platka. So it is extremely convenient. The Good: 1. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite! The day before we left, the desk person... More

Just checking out after two nights here. The hotel is very well run and Donnara and the rest of the staff are very attentive. The location is ideal and the staff will spend quality time explaining where to go and what to see. We also got excellent advice on where to eat. I had one of the single rooms which,... More

I had high hopes for this "Boutique" hotel based on the TA reviews, however we were not impressed. I was expecting old world charm yet the hotel was just dingy and dirty. I understand they want to stay with an antique look, yet the overall impression is very dreary. The common area carpets were filthy, especially the stair runners. The... More

"Feel" of the hotel: This felt like home, so if you're looking for something less "clinical" like the usual run-of-the-mill hotel, this is it. The room we got was spacious. The hotel features old-fashioned, classic decor (think Chandeliers, warm lighting, a walk-up staircase (maybe not so good for super heavy luggage), brass furniture and fittings. Breakfast was home cooked each... More

We had 3 rooms in this hotel. One was on the 4 th floor and was the most modern with wet room and all white and black interior, the other 2 were well equipped , clean and comfortable with ensuite. There is a lift but you do still have a few stairs to climb. the buffet breakfast offered a variety... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the hotel is conveniently located just 2 minutes away from the Sygrou Fix metro station. It is also possible to walk directly to Acropolis, the Museum, Syntagma and many other major attractions without taking the metro (between 5 - 10 minutes walk... More

The location is superb, with a little walk you can reach Acropolis and Olympian Zeus. Another 5mins walk will take you to Syntagma square. The Acropolis View Restaurant that the hotel booked for us offers great evening view of the Acropolis. Room is small but very cozy. The bed is comfortable. We love it!
