Stayed three nights at Hotel Apollo which is less than 200 metres from Metaxourgeiou metro station in Line 2. This budget hotel is very close to tourist areas, breakfast was good and room was very clean. Considering the amount I paid for my stay, I feel it was great value to money. Though I didn't use Hop-On-Off bus during my...

Immediately, went and spoke with the lady, who then gave me attitude, and appeared offended, she said "Fine, try this one". Was definitely a downgrade, but seemed fine, until a group of 27...

The night receptionist asked me to come back for early check in after 9:00. The grumpy lady yelled at me at 9:30 when I went back to check in that they were full and check in would be after 12:00 noon! Wow! Customer...

If all you need is a place to sleep in a good location, Apollo is perfect. It's located in the center of Athens and by a metro station. It's clean, very basic, and nice staff. We stayed there one night during a long-flight connection, in which we've been sight-seeing all day, and only returned to the hotel at night, so...

Checked in after 1 am and there was staff at the desk to assist us. We were surprised that an old building had modern rooms and was kept very clean. Stayed here for 4 days and the rooms were cleaned everyday. Amazing rooftop dining with a great view of the Acropolis each night while watching the sun set, was also...
