Detailed Reviews
If you need to take a long distance bus (or just got off one) this hostel is close enough that you can walk there (and save the taxi fare). I also would walk from the hostel into the city (including all the way to the Acropolis) so it's not that far. I found the best way to the sites also took me through the outdoor markets (bought a new bag and some other stuff).
My room was clean and the hostel was quiet, a nice place!

We had a great stay at this hostel. Everything is so tiny (except for the rooms which are spacious) that you really get to talk to everyone who stays here at the same time.
Good value for the money.
As others have mentioned the kitchen is tiny, but still it’s well equipped and also there is tea/coffee and lots of spices.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Pros: Easily accessible by metro, or even by foot (25 mins from the centre). Air-conditioned (as of 10/11pm). Affordable. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Very basic, with cockroaches in the bathroom on two seperate ocassions (the hostel staff came to spray though). Not very secure (there is one key to the room, which is only locked during the day and luggage is "stored" in the open kitchen). It is also surrounded by rather shady, dirty neighbourhoods, should you decide to walk there.

The worst place in which i had the bad luck to stay in my whole life.
A dark room without windows, cockroaches in the bathroom and on the floor close to the bed. The shower was actually a hole in the floor without the slope and consequently water poured all over the bathroom!
Staff doesn't speak anything but - i think - Urdu and some words of English. Not enough.
Neighboorhood is dangerous, dirty, ugly and in an unhappy position. You'll have to take the metro.
Avoid! You'd better choose to sleep in the airport floor.
It would doubtless be cleaner.

Stay away from this rat hole! Literally, there are huge holes in the walls. There was urine in the showers and on the floors. We walked in late and two foreign men were smoking in bed. This was the only place that made us pay upfront and now we know why. If we had seen the rooms first, we would never have stayed! There was blood in the sheets. Enough said. Don't stay here.

We stayed about a week in the spring. Location and price was ok and the owner was friendly and tried to keep the hostel clean every day. We had a room with balcony and it looked ok. First the room was very cold, but luckily there was a heater that we got on. Bathroom was quite dreary and small and there was no shower curtain. The kitchen seemed like you may not want to cook there, but fridge was ok.
I slept first few nights on an old, dirty mattress and got bitten by bed bug(s). I found blood traces and one bed bug from my bed in the morning. We informed the staff and got the old bed out of our room, so we decided to stay. We didin't no longer find bed bugs and other mattresses were new and clean. But not sure if all the bedclothes were clean. There was black spots and little holes on the plankets. There also came a lot of tiny ants on the floor if you drop any food crumbs. Annoying to say, but there was no good night sleep for the bed bugs, tough beds and pillows, and because the area was really loud by traffic.

We paid $26 Euro for this hostel, and as soon as we arrived, I knew we were in for an experience. We expected a little more for the double private room than we received...
We ended up in a room, private at least, that had three twins beds. The beds had one sheet, and a stained/dirty fleece blanket, that we chose not to use. We instead opted for another sheet upon request. The bathroom we were allowed to use had a sprayer for a shower (not uncommon in Greece) but must be used over the toilet to be near a drain. Keep in mind, any towels need to be paid for, including hand towels.
Our room was right inside the entry door, so all other entrants woke us up, and we could hear every discussion of those on the other sides of each wall.
We chose this due to an early train just minutes on foot from the hostel.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for what should have been 2 nights however we ended up leaving after 1 night. We had the room that was right off reception, this didn’t feel safe as we had to leave our key on display in reception when we went out. We come back at night to find the front door to our room wide open and no body at reception, anyone could have gotten into our room. The shower was next to the toilet and didn’t drain away very well so the bathroom and toilet was constantly wet. One toilet doesn’t have a sink anywhere near it so if you are going to stay here take hand sanitiser. The sheets and the floors were dirty. The staff were friendly though and it is in a good location however the security and cleanliness of this hostel lets it down.

The employees paid really attention at you, they are so lovely!
The place is quiet and clean (2 or 3 times a day!)
There is a wonderful rooftop
You have the AC/fans and the bed are comfortable
Near the metro station
I highly recommend it!
For sure I'll stay there for my next trip in Greece
