Travelers' Choice
Welcome to Pan Hotel! So, what is the element that has made this 3 star city hotel of Athens operating for more than 50 years? The fact that is operated from the 3rd generation, something that effortlessly proves that tourism and hospitality run within the family, together with our friendly staff, are two of the most important aspects of our hotel that have made guests prefer us over and over again when visiting Athens. Our unique location (Syntagma Square), only adds to help you make the choice whether you are a family, a couple or a solo traveler, whether travelling for business or pleasure. The Parliament, National Garden, Panathinaic Stadium, Zappion, Plaka (old city of Athens), Monastiraki, Greek taverns, restaurants of national cuisines, Lycabetus Hill, churches of different religions, The Acropolis and Parthenon, numerous museums such as The Acropolis Museum, Archaeological Museum, The Benaki Museum, etc., central shopping areas, department stores, banks and embassies, etc. are all within walking distances from our hotel. Enjoy a walk or a swim at the beach by taking the Tram where its terminal is only 100m. from our hotel. Easily reached from the airport (El. Venizelos) or Piraeus port, as the Metro and the Airport Express Bus stop within 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel.

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Great small hotel right in the centre of Athens. Clean, safe with incredibly helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Good breakfast. I have been using the hotel almost every year since 2004 which says it all. It is our arrival and departure hotel when we travel to the Cyclades. We actually stayed in June/July last year but it is not shown in the drop down list.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed two nights at the begining and end of out time in Greece and could not be more grateful that we did. Very responsive to prebooking emails with information and pricing - booked direct with the hotel and easy and faultless process. Upon arrival which was later in the evening the service was wonderful with both our bookings being done in the one go so that when we come back we would not have to waste time! Our rooms on both occassions were the family ones which we large and roomy - great bathrooms and accessories. Having the two bathrooms and sleeping areas really impressed Master 14! That in itself speaks volumes :) We had balconies in both instances with views up and down the street to watch the life of the city. Staff on all occassions were generous with thier time, kind and welcoming. This is always appreciated. Breakfast was decent and there was plenty to go around - only very small suggestion would be for larger coffee cups. Aside from this very, very minor suggestion it was delightful. Location, location, location! Does not get any better for this price. Across the street are some amazing places to eat - they actually need to be much further away so you can walk off all the yummy food before heading back to the hotel! Post Office just up the road, good access to laundrymat within one kilometer. And if you want to save some money on airport transfers catch the bus as it stops a five minute (if that) walk from the hotel. You can also stroll to some cool archeological sites from here on your morning walk (to walk off dinner) before you start again for the day. The area around the hotel felt safe and easy to get around. We are already planning our return to Greece in 2021 and will not even hestiate to come back to the Pan Hotel - simply the best value around! Well done to all xx

Booked the hotel on recommendation of a friend who has stayed here. Our first night was spent in quite a small room but when the next morning I asked if there was a larger room available, the receptionist immediately was happy to move us and did so within 10 minutes. The rooms are comfortable and very clean as are all areas of the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant and as the receptionist said want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They have certainly succeeded ! The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of foodstuffs e.g. cereals, toast, meats, cheese, croissants, bread rolls, jams, orange juice, tea etc and exceptionally good filter coffee. I would certainly recommend the hotel, which is centrally located, and would return.

Good Hotel in centre of Athens, Had a triple room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, recently refurbished and very clean. Very nice staff. only downside is that the showers are a bit to small. Apart from that a nice Hotel right in the heart of the action. Would stay again if in Athens
