I stayed here for a week in January. Staff were very friendly, room was extremely clean, breakfast was good selection with great quality food considering the price (mine was included in hotel room price). Bathroom and rooms good sized with nice shower and more than sufficient wardrobe space. Decor also pleasant and bed comfortable. Perfect site - literally seconds away... More

I came to Greece with my school and we stayed at this hotel. On the last night I had to sleep on a couch (not super comfortable) and during the four meager hours that I was able to sleep, I woke up at least four times itching myself. Finally at three am I got up and saw there were insects... More

Friendly and welcoming staff, the location of the accommodation is very close to Ommonia square and there is lots to do. Breakfast at the hotel was of good variety and tasted nice. I slept well, there was a double bed, and the hotel room had a bathroom which was nice.

Look, nobody's gonna shoot a commercial for haircare products in one of these rooms. Nobody's gonna book this hotel to propose marriage to a loved one. But it's fine. Room is clean. Staff are warm. Wifi is strong. The area is the grittier side of Athens, around the corner from the raw Omonia Square and Metro. But I like that... More

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the metro station. The room in general and the bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was ok with small problems. There is 24h reception which is good. Cons: The room was clean but the carpets and the sofa looks very old and their colors went pale.... More

In Omonia sq. I found this amazing hotel, very affordable price for an exquisite hotel, I rated the place 5 basically for the room & the bathroom, I loved those. I really liked the receptionist Flippia, we arrived without a reservation, she was very helpful and good to us. I had my problems with room AC but it's really nothing... More

Omania is not a plush area, but is anywhere in central Athens? It looks worse late at night than during daytime when shops are open. The Mirabello is on a side street but a sign on the main road makes it easy to find and is close to Omonia metro station. Staff were always helpful and luggage was looked after... More

Great location. Only 20 minutes walk in any direction to most of the sites of the city. Convenient, clean. Rooms have balconies, as do the floors, everything works, Wi-Fi works well (I'm writing this using it now!) staff are friendly and wasn't too bad for price. About €80 for a single person staying 2 nights, will be cheaper if in... More

A hotel whose characteristics comply perfectly with the needs of their guests. The room is correct and the breakfast is fresh and tasty. Great attention of reception staff. The neighborhood where is located is not the best of Athens, but I had no problem.

The hotel was in the centre near the metro, but not in the best area. To reach the best area of restaurants or the Acropolis you should walk in some area with very few people and not looking very trustable. Smell in the room was not good.

Staying in Omonia

Neighborhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
