Great service at the front desk… NO INSORONISATION… NONE 😞 First morning breakfast 👍🏻 Needed a breakfast basket since We were leaving really early…. 2 plain white bread slices with one slice of bologny… yes, balony, chesse and no margarine, no mustard, no ketchup..Nothing, really not much. i do have to mention a yogourt and a juice. Hotel's Favorite
Very much enjoyed are two night stay. The staff couldn’t be nicer. My daughter and I just left and appreciate how they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our room was spotless with a double and single bed. The bathroom was nice size with hot shower. We did not hear our neighbors. The beds and pillows were comfortable and air conditioner was operated within room. We got in around 7 so decided to eat at hotel. Wow, so happy we did. The food was awesome and the rooftop view to die for!!! Waiters were helpful and wonderful service. The area around the hotel felt very safe as we walked everywhere. We will be back in a week for another night before heading home.

Nice place to crash for the night. Few positives and a few negatives: Location (4/5): Pretty centrally located. 3-4 mins to the nearest metro station: Omonia. Plenty of nice eateries in a 10 minute radius - we were spoilt for choice. The area looked quite commercial and deserted on weekends but busy on weekdays. Acropolis is 3 metro stations away (~10 mins) and you could see it from the room. Room (4/5): The room was a bit jaded / old but did the job. Good A/C, decently comfortable beds, TV and a safe . Since we were 2 adults + kid, the room (Superior double) felt quite small. Property (4/5): The elevators are a bit too small and you could have issues if you have bulky luggage. Service (4.5/5) . Staff were very helpful both during check-in and check-out and helped us find a cab. Food (N.A): Did not opt for the breakfast and did not try food here as we found plenty of other options close by.

We were situated under the rooftop bar which meant the room was noisy, but the rooftop did have stunning views as I watched Liverpool smash into the final. Quick walk to the tourism places. Good variety of breakfast items, Helpful receptionists. A nice clean room.

Perfect hotel 5 minutes walk to Omonia Station and walkable to all major sites. Had a room on the 8th floor massive balcony and a view of the Acropolis. There's a bar and restaurant on the 9th floor thanx to the chef and the lovely lady who made me dinner after hours . Reception staff can't be faulted. Apologies to the lady who I messed around with my room on our 3rd visit in 2 weeks. Room was large with a nice shower and lovely hot water. Drinks in mini bar were reasonably priced cheaper than I expected. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Homemade jams were really nice. I've read reviews about it being in a dodgy area to be fair a lot of streets in Athens are dodgy looking. We walked back from Plaka Area at night up the main road took 20 minutes and we never felt once unsafe. Would stay here again for sure

Cleanliness: Great Breakfast: Fantastic Location to things: Great Location in general: I had no issues with the location. But some people might think it was a more sketchy area. Staff: Great. Spoke English and were really helpful. Scheduled us taxis when needed and gave us information that we needed to navigate the area.

If you are coming to Athens and want location, Polis Grand is fantastic. We walked to the Acropolis, to the changing of the guards, to dinners, all very accessible and easy to reach. The hotel itself is better than we expected, very clean, staff extremely helpful (24 hour reception), on site rooftop hotel (with view of the Acropolis), and a really wonderful breakfest. Great hot and cold selections, vegetarian options and lots to choose from. Definitely a hotel to consider in the mid range tier.

Was very impressed with our recent visit to the Polis grand hotel. The hotel was immaculate, including our room which was cleaned every day. The food was spot on- particularly the omelettes on the breakfast menu. The hotel is located centrally so everything to see/do is tops an half an hour walk. All of the staff were very pleasant and very welcoming. The mini-bar in the bedroom was also a nice little feature that we didn’t expect, and was used and restocked throughout our stay. With amazing views of the acropolis from the roof top bar. Safe to say, if we were to stay in Athens again we will definitely be returning. Thanks for such a great city break.

I booked this hotel on it's reviews and found a good deal for a superior room for 3 nights in March. Omnonia isn't the most attractive area , it's a bit rundown but it's only a short 10 minute walk to the city, minutes from Omnonia metro and three small supermarkets and many bakeries. Arrived late, check in was quick and efficient with a warm welcome . My request for a high floor Acropolis view was granted. Room 705 was modern, clean, with good facilities. Sockets by the bed, good lighting, large TV, mini fridge, good wi-fi, safe and a small balcony with a distance view of the Acropolis. Only downside was the small, poorly laid out bathroom. The toilet and mini bathtub was squeezed in a tight corner but was functional with a powerful shower although positioned incorrectly so water goes on the floor. The small mini gym is rather disappointing with only three machines and a few light hand weights. The rest of the room was filled with chairs. No cleaning products to wipe the machines and a water machine would have been expected. I think the multifunctional room could be utilised better. Granted, not everyone goes to Athens to workout but having a gym was another reason for selecting this hotel and I wasn't the only one to use it whilst there. Best part of the hotel was the outstanding breakfast. It was in a light airy room on the second floor with a balcony and there was always at least three staff who were constantly replenishing food and clearing plates. Being a vegetarian I wasn't expecting to find much but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of variety on offer. I really enjoyed trying the Greek breakfast options, lentil salad, potato salad, spinach and feta filo, and other dishes I wouldn't normally eat which were fantastic. Also bread, rolls, rusks, different yoghurts, cereals, cakes, fruits, peanuts butter, jams, flavoured waters, as well as hot foods which did change each day. There really was enough choice to please all tastes. All the staff were helpful, polite and accommodating. Apart from a few minor points which could be improved, I had a great stay, it was good value, and wouldn't hesitate staying again!
