Its a nice hotel in good location. The breakfast is specially nice. Good service and choices for the price. The only bad side is Omonia is not a very safe center at nights. I used taxi at night times to reach there. I would stay again

Average does not look very nice but it is to walk to the city centre. Very nice breakfast! Easy to hear noise in the corridor. Small rooms and bathroom. I had a room on the back side of the hotel so no noise from the street side.

First Night flew into Athens and booked the hotel though there were mixed reviews. The rooms were small and toilets were even smaller. Can't move the body when taking a bath. Not deserving a 4 star ratingm

Stayed at the hotel for city break. Credit to the staff - very friendly! Pros: staff, breakfast variety, roof top restaurant with view of Acropolis Cons: very thin walls, some parts of hotel look a bit "shabby" and could use refurbishing. Overall: ok for short stay and sleep over

The view from the rooftop bar of the illuminated Acropolis is beautiful...the location within walking distance of the main sites in Athens via a pedestrian walkway for most of the time is a recommendation too but....the breakfasts are amazing....such a choice of hot and cold food ..some very Greek others more continental...and the facility to make your own Greek coffee...

Very good Hotel with great staff. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is generous and various. We spent great time in Athens. The Hotel is in the middle of Athens very close to downtown. We've visited Athens by walking till the Acropolis. I recommend.

Staying in Omonia

Neighborhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
