Room was just fine for the price, location is pretty central and staff were helpful. We didn't experience any trouble in the local area, day or night. Bed was a little hard and uncomfortable but this is my personal preference. Didn't have the breakfast but there were lots of food options around. Moka is a good base if you're looking...

Very nice, helpful staff. Near everything you need: supermarkets, bus stations, subway, Architecture museum, bakeries, coffee. Fridge in room! And you can use kettle in lounge all night long! Extremely clean room, great balcony, hot hot shower. Nothing to complain about at all. The price is right. Fine neighborhood, perfectly safe at all hours. Don't believe the horror stories, Omonoia...

The default pictures of this hotel were a joke. Our stay was in room 36. Upon arrival on the 3rd floor, the hallway light didnt work and the hallway smelled of musty old cigarette smoke. Our room was the last at a special rate and an impulse stay instead of hotelling closer to the airport. Our room itself smelled of...

This is not a hotel you'd book if you are looking for a high quality hotel experience. But, if you are travelling and would prefer to save a few Euros which could be put to better use elsewhere this is a good pick. The rooms have no frills but they are clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I...

Comfort and spaciousness are offered by Moka Hotel at a very reasonable rate. Just a few minutes walk from Omonia train station, it is close enough to hub of frenetic Syntagma but far from the madding crowds. Yet, nearby are the cafes, bakeshops, restaurants, clothing shops, discount stores and the big Athens department store , Attika. It will be an...

Stayed for 3 nights. It was ok. Location-close to omonia metro station, also close to syntagma station- you can take the tram to the beach from here-the one that says voula-, also the bus to the airport leaves from here, and it takes about 45 min. Also close to the acropolis and monastiraki-great places to eat there. Didn't seem a...

They are everything they promise online. Clean, efficient, English speaking, close to Acropolis and offer a good breakfast to start your day. The windows are sound proof,, letting you sleep well despite being in the busy area. They are happy to provide you with additional information about nearby places, what to avoid and what to do. The folks on the...

Stayed four nights in this budget hotel located in one of the more colourful areas of Athens. Handy for the metro though a bit rough round the edges at night. Hotel pretty basic but air conned with a fill your boots breakfast. Cleaned every day. Shower curtain and a wall bracket would have been useful but hey ho this is...

Actually you can't expect big things. Small room (it was enough for me), small bathroom (It wasn't). My room was 4th floor and had a balcony, air con. small fridge, Tv, satellite receiver, hair dryer. It's located near a road therefore so noisy but isolated windows prevented. Briefly you looking for a average otel That's for you..

Moka hotel is a nice accommodation located in Athens city centre, next to Omonia square. The location is strategic, as it's 3mins walking to the metro and 15mins walking to the Acropolis. Although being close to all facilities, the area is very dodgy, with homeless people and drug addicts in the street. During the day it is feasible, but it...
