The hotels location was excellent. You can go to the city's sightseeings (Parthenon, Syntagma..) by foot. Regarding the hotels service I have to mention that everyone was really helpful and kind with us and exceptional Thanasis from reception. Moreover, there is a nice bar at the hotels rooftop with a nice view. Photo attached. Breakfast was very nice with a... More

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Athens. Syntagma Square is a 2 minute walk and allows you to access all the sights of Athens. The view of the Acropolis at night is magnificent. Rooms are modern and spacious with everything you need in them.

We reserved 2 rooms for our family or 4 (for 3 nights). Our flight was late into Athens, so we didn't arrive until 2:00 AM, and were very tired, but our room was ready to go and we were comfortable and asleep in no time. The rooms are tiny, but very clean and updated. The bathrooms are also modern and... More

Highly recommended. It is within walking distance from Syntagma Square station and central point to all attractions (especially the ones in the €30 multi site ticket). Access to good food as well. Great rooftop bar with beautiful view of Acropolis lighted up at night. For the price of €80 plus per night including tax, the room is great - good... More

The hotel is brilliantly situated in the heard of Athens but in a quite road with lots of restaurants around. The rooms are superb, the breakfast even greater. On top floor there is a top restaurant/bar with a breath taking view of Acropolis. For sure i'll use this hotel again!

Great place, great views, great staff. Well furnished, decent breakfast options, luggage room for check out, great roof top terrace. Literally 5 min from Sytagma Sq on foot, plenty of places to eat, centrally placed to all the sites and shopping districts, lots of travel links too. Everything you need and a decent price too

Stayed here for 3 nights and found it most comfortable. Location is great - a stones throw from Syntagma and 10 mins walk from the markets. Took around 30 mins to reach the Acropolis, which in fact was a lovely, picturesque stroll. The view of the Acropolis from the hotel bar was amazing - which prompted me to book in... More

Our room was on the 5th floor with an excellent view of the Acropolis only to be outdone by the splendid roof top garden and café! An amazing hot and cold breakfast with enough variety to satisfy any taste. The room was on the small side but very clean and modern. The bed was more firm than I am use... More

I spent two nights in the Hotel and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. The public spaces were good maintained and the room was clean and rather spacious. The bathroom though not big does the job. It is idealy located for someone who has business in the centre of Athens. Breakfast is more than satisfactory and the... More

Smallish but clean and modern rooms in a great location not far from the X95 stop from the airport at Syntagma Square and close to the sights of ancient Athens. The view from the rooftop bar of the Parthenon (maybe 500 metres away) as the sun sets is stunning.

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
