This hotel was perfectly located, very cute and charming. The staff was very helpful and even packed us a breakfast for our early flight when we left. Our room was small, but for the price it was fine. Modern and very clean. The elevator was the tiniest elevator I have ever seen, but wasn't too high up to use the... More

If you are looking for an affordable hotel in the heart of Athens, then this hotel is for you! We stayed there 2 nights, and greatly enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were clean and functional (albeit a bit smaller then what we thought, but the hotel is located in central Athens, so it was to... More

We only stayed one night but happy we did. The hotel is centrally located. We spent the day walking the city and took in most of the major sites. They organized a take away breakfast and taxi for our drive to the port.

Really close to everything, being in the Plaka. No matter how many streets we wandered, somehow we were always close to the hotel at the end of the day. Great rooms with very pleasant decor and lots of storage, large bathroom (small shower) very modern, large terrace, great lobby and breakfast area. Wonderful, full breakfast with pastries, yogurt, multiple hot... More

We were only in Athens for one day so we wanted a hotel that had a good location and this was it! We got in late the first night and were able to walk to many great restaurants/cafes/bars. The next day we got up and enjoyed the breakfast which had a good variety before heading out on a full day... More

Great location and the staff are fantastic. Rooms are small, but perfectly adequate, and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for a walk to the Acropolis,or enjoy a stroll around the shops, with a stop for drinks along the way.

Very central hotel, rooms are a bit small but fantastic view from the top of the hotel in their bar restaurant, of the Acropolis, best in the city. The hotel is very clean wi fi very good, bedroom also had view of the Acropolis from French windows in the room. The next street Niki Street has storage for "left bags"... More

Very convenient for the major tourist attractions. Helpful staff and good breakfast, with cooked food: eggs, bacon, mushrooms. Bathroom small but perfectly adequate. We booked a superior room for 4 nights. Complimentary bottle of wine welcome touch. Roof top bar with good view of acropolis. Stayed here because our first choice hotels were all booked, but we glad they were.... More

Small but modern room with a french balcony and view to the Acropolis. Queen bed was VERY hard, but on our request, staff immediately provided a soft 3 inch top layer which made sleeping a lot easier !

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
