Convenient location, safe and secure environment, professional and helpful staff, tasty breakfast offerings and comfortable rooms...a wonderful hotel at a fraction of the price of the name brands. What more can one expect, especially when they graciously provided us with upgraded accommodations? When we were initially looking to reserve lodging for our visit to Athens, we were appalled by the seemingly exorbitant hotel prices at several of our favorite international haunts. Admittedly, we were reluctant to try the Pallas Athena Grecotel Boutique Hotel, even with its very good reviews. However, we were not disappointed, would highly recommend it to other travelers and would definitely stay there again.

WOW - This is a truly stunning hotel

We have just returned from celebrating a special occasion 4 night break at the Grecotel Pallas Athena Hotel and experienced a truly wonderful time in this beautiful hotel

From the moment you enter the reception lobby you know this is something special, the greeting, the beautiful decor, the attention to detail, and the level of service you receive from every member of staff is incredible, nothing is too much trouble, if you have any questions just ask and they have or will find out the answer.

The rooms are stunning, very spacious, spotlessly clean with comfy beds and quirky artwork and all the amenities you wish for and a free initial fill mini bar thrown in.

The range and quality of hot and cold food and beverages on offer at breakfast is up there with the best. The Restaurant offers beautifully presented fine dining at very reasonable prices for Athens and the attentive service when eating, at any time of the day, is extraordinary

The location is great, just 20 minutes walking from most places and the Hop on Hop off sightseeing buses stop opposite at Kotzia Square, (we chose the Sights of Athens HOHO and pre-booked a 3 day 3 route pass for just 22 Euros each, they we excellent and you also had access to Grey Line buses as well), some of the buildings in the area do look a little shabby but don’t let this put you off.

If you want to venture on the trains or Metro, both stations are minutes away from the hotel and accessing tickets is so simple and travel is inexpensive

We will without doubt stay here when we next visit Athens and would recommend this hotel to anyone without any hesitation whatsoever

We stayed at Pallas Athena Grecotel Boutique Hotel from 28th to 30th April 2022, and the experience was amazing. The hotel is centrally located, and almost all the main markets can be approached by foot.
The room was spacious, tastefully done interiors, and they even gave a wine bottle, along with the entire mini bar complimentary for the first night.
Our checkout was at 5 am, and the staff made sure to pack full fledged breakfast for us for our travel.
The entire staff was the warmest and kindest I have personally come across till date. They are examples of how the hospitality sector should function across the globe.

Once again, had an amazing experience.
Cheers.

Sakshi & Anish.

The service in the hotel was fantastic. All the staff were very welcoming and super helpful. We stayed here 2 nights in a standard room in 206. The room was very clean and tidy. Liked the furniture and decor. Bathroom was big but the shower leaked so the bathroom floor would flood, just poor shower design. There was shower gel, shampoo, lotion, cotton pads & buds and shower cap for use in bathroom. Room door is not sound proof and with us being on the floor above the restaurant we could hear them preparing for breakfast from our room. In the room the first round of the mini bar is free (ours had 6 bottles of water, 2 cokes & 2 fantas. There was also a nespresso machine (although would have been helpful if the capsules were labelled as to what flavour). There was also a kettle but no teabags. Some cute additions such as tubs of sweets, jellies and biscuits were dotted around the room. Slippers were also provided. Breakfast had a super healthy spread with a variety of fresh smoothies and fruit juices. We were told by the taxi driver that the area was not very safe to the left of the hotel. It can look bad with all the metal shutters and graffiti but that’s what most of Athens looks like. We walked everywhere, 25 minute walk to the Acropolis so easy to get around.

We had a good three night stay at this hotel. Our room was hot on arrival but there was heating/air conditioning to use so we were able to adjust the temperature to make it more comfortable. The room was quirky with graffiti on the walls which brightened up the room. There was a coffee machine & kettle with tea/coffee also some snacks on arrival. No view out of the window as we overlooked the side street & an ugly old building with smashed windows, but to be fair we weren't there much so it didn't really matter. The room was clean & well maintained & the shower was really good, a decent powerful one. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. We had a three course complimentary meal one evening which was so good. Good quality food & lots of it. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, all very friendly & helpful. The hotel is situated in the centre of Athens so within walking distance of lots of the sights. We walked to everything we visited but if needed the hotel was near to metro & tram stops. We would recommend the hotel & visit again for sure.

This is a really good hotel. I stayed for 4 nights and thought the accommodation, service and food were all terrific. The room I had was quirky in decor but was spacious, clean and had an excellent bathroom. The breakfast is very good with a wide selection of fresh fruit, cereals and hot food. I had half board and whilst the choice for the evening meal was limited, the quality of the food was excellent. There are nice little touches that make this hotel stand out - free water and coke in the room, on one day some cakes were left in my room and on my last morning I had to leave before breakfast but I was offered some food to take with me to the airport. The staff are amazing and everyone I encountered during my stay was so helpful and polite. The location is good. Highly recommended.

The staff was very accommodating. Our flight came in early morning to Athens and the hotel staff worked to prepare our room before the official check in time. While we waited we went up to dining area and were pleasantly surprised at the variety of drinks and over 50 available breakfast items and they were all part of the room charge.
The location is right on one of the city center streets and very safe. We had a 5 min walk to a restaurant that had a great view of the Acropolis. Across the street you can pick up hop-on-hop off bus that can take you all around the city.
The value for this hotel is unmatched from the price checking I did for that particular day. I would definitely stay again!!

We would like to thank you for providing such a great feedback of your recent stay at Grecotel Pallas Athena! We are happy that we were able to assist with an early check-in; despite the high occupancy due to the high season, our Housekeeping team is giving every day their best in order to prepare the rooms the soonest possible, and yet efficiently cleaned. Our location is indeed very convenient, as we are in walking distance from malls, restaurants and archaeological sites. It would give us great pleasure to welcome you back next time you visit Athens!

I’ve only stayed for one night, but the hotel definitely deserves five full stars.
Upon arrival, the staff kindly offered us a snack at the bar until we waited for our room to be ready.
I really appreciated the funny decorations on the walls and I found the whole building to be clean and extremely well kept.
It’s in a very comfortable position for visiting the city and the receptionists didn’t hesitate to give us tips on good local restaurants and help us book.
Would 100% recommend for a quick city break

The Grekotel was such an unexpected and wonderfully beautiful hotel. Our travel agent arranged for us to stay here at the start and end of our trip (we went to Santorini between stays) and we were so happy she did.

The breakfast was delicious and when our checkout time was before breakfast began, they packed us sweet little breakfast boxes to ensure we would not be hungry. What a kind gesture!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and really beautiful. The location was also super convenient and a short walk from so much transportation, lots of restaurants, museums and things to do.

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous hotel for 3 nights in early March. Without doubt it’s greatest asset is the staff who were all so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were spotless, beds very comfortable, and spacious bathrooms with great showers. The food in the hotel was the best we had in Athens, at both breakfast and in the evening the food was outstanding. It was beautifully presented, fresh and full of flavour. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The hotel arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport that cost €55 which was cheaper than arranging it ourselves. The train station is a straight 10 min walk from the hotel. We did the tourist thing and got the hop on hop off bus to see all the sights. It cost €20 each for a two day ticket which was well worth it as there are so many historical places to visit. All in all a really enjoyable trip, fantastic hotel!
