My favorite part of staying in this hotel was the absolutely delightful breakfast we had every morning. The coffee, yogurt, fruit, and everything else was GREAT! The hotel staff is very helpful. They packed our breakfast at no extra charge since we had an early morning departure flight. About our rooms- I liked the size and cleanliness. They can pay...

Hotel Eridanus is not right in the heart of things but it is just minutes away. Its' location is in a not so great neighborhood but not one that we found uncomfortable at any time. Getting that out of the way, we loved our stay there. Everyone was more than helpful, the rooms while not large were very nice and...

We had a very comfortable stay just for one night en route to the islands. We had booked a superior room at a great reduced price but I'm not sure if the room could be described as superior - it was perfectly comfortable, pleasant and clean but looked out at the ugly wall of a run down building. We were...

The hotel doesn't quite live up to the five star standard, but is still a good value for money. Our room on the first floor was a bit bleak, despite of the terrace, which was nice but opened to the yard with limited views. The view from the restaurant on the top floor was beautiful and we ended up dining...

We needed a quiet oasis after flying in from the States, and this place was very good. Room was hot and air-conditioning took awhile to kick in,but the shower and bed were fine. Our room and balcony overlooked a quiet alley, but the roof restaurant has a spectacular Acropolis view, and dinner was delicious, although slow to arrive. The breakfast buffet(included in the...

This was my first time in Athens, I went with my partner, we checked a majority of hotels before we went, to see what suited us as a couple. We choose the Eridanus, now, let me start by the bad points, ok, thats long enough. On to the good points, Hotel itself 5 stars, Staff 5 stars, Food, 5 stars,...

If this place would have been rated as a four star hotel, than I would have given a five star review! But, as we are looking at a five star hotel, there are many issues to comment about. First, there is the location, on a busy street connecting Omonia square to Pireus (the hotel is not in the Omonia area...

We struggled a little to find the place when we came out of the subway quite late at night (around kerameikos stop) and the surrounding area looked pretty unwelcoming. But that is just Athens - an odd mix of great buildings, graffiti and run down areas. The service from the outset from everyone here was personal, friendly and helpful. The...

Very nice hotel - in a run down part of town but beyond the front doors of the hotel, you would not realise it. Quite handy to Gazi & Keramikos stations and walking distance to Thissio & Adrionou Street which has great cafes with views of the acropolis. We stayed in a group of 8 in May 2012, 4 couples....

We went to this hotel in August 2012. We booked 2 rooms via the internet on 'booking.com' and got some good prices for what was advertised as a 5 star hotel. We were hugley impressed by the hotel. I was a bit concerned when we pulled up outside the hotel as it seemed a bit small but that was just...
