Stayed here before a cruise. Rooms are a bit tired but plenty large enough. Staff very friendly and rooms very clean. While it's not in the city centre it was near a lot of local restaurants and I liked being away from the tourist areas. It was only a five euro taxi fare into town. Price for the hotel was... More

The hotel is very outdated, but the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you. The bed is very hard, the breakfast was a bit disappointing, but staff make it a "4 Star" hotel! However we are a bit far from the center of town, we took the bus and it's way cheaper than a taxi.

The Athens Atrium Hotel is a five star when it arrives to hospitality. They will bend over backwards if they have too to accommodate you and they won't rest easy until you're from soup to nuts content. From the General Manager & Front Desk Clerks to the Waiters and Housekeepers; they are the creme de la creme of the hospitality... More

Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very hard but we didn't have difficulty sleeping at night. If you like a soft bed, this is not your hotel. While advertised as close to the major attractions, it is quite a walking distance from them, if you are not keen on long walks, be prepared to hire taxis... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights prior to a cruise. About $30 Euro (flat rate) for a taxi on congested roads (24 hr transit strike that day). Cabbie spoke excellent English, but he was the only one that did in three days. Good location, semi-residential and quiet. Within a walk to the Acropolis (longer, hilly walk - 30-40... More

Upon arrival, my initial thought reflected the recent reviews, 'is this really rated as a four star hotel...'. Being in the outskirts of the city area, the entrance of the hotel is not glamorous. It is in a neighbourhood with narrow streets and lanes but as it turned out the quaint charm grew on me. There was a convenience store... More

I did quite a bit of research using various sites - TripAdvisor, Expedia, et al, and was looking forward to staying at this hotel. Maybe it was the week that I went, but the majority of the positive reviews did not come to close to meeting expectations. Location: 1.5 out of 5 stars Let no one kid you, this hotel... More

The room was very outdated, except for the gorgeous bathroom! The carpeting was gross to walk barefoot on. They need to update the main part of the rooms or at least steam clean the carpeting. The restaurant didn't accept credit cards. The front desk personnel were outstanding. For the price we paid via Expedia, this was NOT worth it at... More

First: this is not a 4* hotel. I would say 3,5*. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The furniture is quite worn. The bed is okay. The breakfast is plenty but simple, not too much to choose from. Not what you used to from a 4* hotel. Concerning the price I would not come back.

I stayed here on June 5 and 6, 2016. The hotel room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. The dining room had an excellent and delicious assortment of breakfast dishes, served buffet style, and the wait staff was quite attentive. Demos and his colleagues at the concierge desk were very heloful, pleasant and kind, and they gave excellent directions!... More
