Fresh Hotel garners praise for its spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities, creating an inviting atmosphere with its modern design, despite some remarks about room sizes. The staff's friendliness is often highlighted, although service consistency has been questioned by a few. Situated in a central location, it offers easy access to attractions, with varying opinions on the surrounding areas.
While views on value diverge, the amenities, including a fresh breakfast and a rooftop pool, receive positive attention. Guests generally enjoy the clean, cozy, albeit compact, rooms.

Lovely hotel in Athens not far from the acropolis and in the center of it all. The front desk staff was so nice and welcoming! The hotel is cute and chic. The rooms are small but you really don't need much space when you're here to see the city. Everything was clean which is most important. The bathroom has soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. There room came with a safe, blow dryer, AC, and an iron was available upon request. There is a small pool on the roof along with a restaurant/bar. We had dinner there one night and everything was delicious and affordable. The rooftop has gorgeous view of the acropolis and sunset. There was a small gym in the basement along with a shower. Free breakfast was included which is a nice perk. They had many options to choose from including eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, cakes, juice, coffee/tea etc. The only negatives that come to mind are:
1. The bed was extremely firm 2. As someone else mentioned, the glass shower door needs something added to the bottom to prevent water from spilling as every time I showered I flooded the bathroom.

We have been delighted with this hotel, it is definitely worth it. It is very well located, 10 minutes walk from Monastiraki and with the Omonia Metro 3 minutes. Directly opposite is a tourist bus stop, worth using to get to the tourist spots. The reception staff is lovely, they try their best and some splutter a little Spanish, enough to understand you. It is tastefully decorated, both the common areas and the rooms, which are spacious enough and with everything you need. Breakfast is great and on the top floor there is a restaurant where we ate a really good day, a bit expensive for what is Athens, but worth a treat. On the same floor is the pool, also very nice. It's not very big but since there aren't many people, it's wonderful to be able to take a bath when you come back from kicking yourself around town. If I go back to Athens, I will definitely repeat.

This was my third stay at Fresh Hotel, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. This time, I was visiting with a group of friends from Brazil, and they were just as impressed as I was!
The location is absolutely unbeatable—walking distance to the Acropolis, Monastiraki, and Plaka, making it perfect for both sightseeing and evening strolls. The view of the Acropolis from the hotel is truly breathtaking, especially at sunset.
The rooftop restaurant and pool area feel like a hidden oasis in the heart of Athens. We enjoyed some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen, paired with expertly crafted cocktails. The design throughout the hotel is a masterpiece—sleek, modern, yet incredibly comfortable. The aesthetics were done by renowned Italian designer Paola Navone, and it shows in every detail!
The food here is top-tier. Breakfast is an absolute highlight—one of the best in Athens, with a wide array of fresh, local ingredients. The dining experience overall is world-class.
If you’re looking for a stylish, centrally located, and effortlessly chic place to stay in Athens, Fresh Hotel is my absolute recommendation! !

This hotel which is surprisingly part of the Marriott Design Group, provides very inconsistent services.
It is located in a central location of Athens, but too close to the ugly parts of the area.
It is trying hard to be a high end hotel and charges high end prices but their efforts fall short in many places as they don't seem to know what high end hotel service is. Having stayed on other hotels around the corner with less money I know that the location does not justify it.
The property has multiple steps immediately after the reception that make use of the elevators challenging if you have luggage. God forbid you would have mobility issues!
Also the primary elevator is always busy and corky. A remnant from a previous life!
The room I was given (a premium room with a balcony) was small, badly appointed with very tired appliances. The view from the balcony was a view of Athens past, the ugly abandoned buildings and the run down hotel next door. I asked for an iron and an iron board and they were so old that they were unusable.
The balcony furniture consisted of a plastic cube and an ashtray. The brightly colored plastic partitions did not improve the mood. Also It looked into other balconies across the street, so the shades needed to be drawn all the time.
The roof garden was nice enough if you avoided looking down to the ugly parts. No view of Acropolis. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and the stuff helpful. The coffee atrocious.
As a Marriott member I would recommend to AVOID. Despite my finding them through the Marriott website, there was absolutely no recognition either of my membership, nor my gold status.

Pleasant stay in this establishment very well located in the center of the city , Parliament is 15' walk to see the changing of the guard as well as neighborhoods like Plaka very touristic .The acropolis is 1.8 Kms. The service is welcoming , and breakfast in 2 different possible rooms well provided . The rooms are clean and modern , only small note , the passage at the foot of the bed is a little narrow , not easy to pass. Very good rooftop restaurant by the pool with fantastic views of the Acropolis

We booked connecting room as this was the main reason fro choosing the hotel as well as the location
Turns out the hotel was in renovating mode so incheck was around the corner in a small reception area. We came from the airport and had indicated check-in time to be a bit earlier however when we arrived, we did not get our room. When we asked if there was nothing available, we had luggage and came from airport, a room magically became available. I was not impressed with guest services during check-in, expect a bit more friendliness as they are part of the bonvoy group.
Rooms are a bit odd, very small, beds are extremely low nad the balcony in our room was without seating options. The rooms did come with great tea bags from Greek brand Anassa.
Rooms were all clean, good showers but it felt as if the hotel was not done yet and they still had to get the right style and design in. Felt more as if they repainted an odl hotel and it had not quiet gotten it's style yet
Rooftop was nice but the pool is more a plungepool then an actual pool and the area is very small so does not fit alot of people. Pool is also next to the restaurant so people in swimmers appear in the restaurant....
Lovely views though from some corners of the rooftop.
Breakfast was served somewhere on the 1st floor and it felt a temporary place as well. Spread was good but hard to find the coffee and tea and the staff was not very helpful nor friendly. They chased me from a table as they were closing breakfast in 30min?? I had to sit somewhere else. Then no one showed up to ask for coffee or tea or anything else
All in all it was an ok hotel - great location as you could walk/cycle anywhere, Athens foodtours start around the corner, the market is opposite the hotel plus the oldest coffee bar. Small street where you can buy fresh pita, olives, feta etc next door. I think when the renovation is done, this could be a really goodlooking place and comfy hotel (if they put normal height beds in)

We really enjoyed our stay at Fresh Hotel. The rooms are well appointed, the bed extremely comfortable, the décor bright and light at tasteful, and the location excellent for accessing the various sights etc (although it is quite a busy, noisy, and 'mixed' area, which we loved, but may not be to everyone's taste). We found the reception staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooftop area (with pool, bar, and restaurant was great, with views (in some places) of the Acropolis. Why only four stars and not five? In part because some days the rooftop bar/restaurant staff were not as attentive as other times, and the service was variable. Also, the normally excellent and friendly breakfast staff could occasionally (but not often) be a little grumpy and inattentive. But mainly the breakfast experience was very positive. And finally, because the daily making up of the room could sometimes be a bit hit and miss with dirty coffee cups not being replaced, and used coffee pods not being replenished etc. But, overall, it was an excellent hotel and our experience there was very good.

I have reviewed the Fresh hotel previously but I wanted to add a review that covers the current situation during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Overall I am very impressed by how the hotel has been handling the “new normal”. The front desk has been proactive at communicating with customers soon after booking and providing a platform for a proper advance check in, where all the required information can be provided.
This made check in extremely efficient and there was barely any contact with the front desk other than a very warm welcome and handing over the room keys. We were already aware that room cleaning was by request only. That said, anything needed, from fresh towels to Korres bath amenities were swiftly delivered to the room upon request. Housekeeping staff also proactively asked if we needed anything else.
The previously varied buffet breakfast now consists of items carefully packaged or presented in sealed jars. I still felt that there was a great deal of choice. Cut fruit and fruit salads in jars, Greek yoghurt, nuts, salad, cheeses, cured meats, tyropita; all very well packed and presented! I was impressed and felt very confident in the hotel’s high health standards. The hotel also offers a small number of cooked dishes at an extra cost.
All hotel staff wore face masks (nicely branded with the hotel logo) at all times. I also found the staff, once again, to be very friendly, extremely helpful and very efficient at all levels of the hotel and something that, for me, makes the hotel stand out. Yes, the rooms are beginning to show their age and some elements such as the shower door seals or the soap stand in the shower have seen better days but the rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable!
And as always, the rooftop pool/bar/restaurant area is a pure delight for spending hot days or wonderful evenings overlooking the Acropolis! The location of the hotel makes it easily accessible by both public transport and on foot to explore the city centre. What was once considered a seedy neighbourhood of Athens has seen a lot of renovation recently and has upped its game. The hotel has no doubt contributed to that since its opening.
A very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend the hotel - it is exceptional value for money!

What a nice surprise ! A hotel close to everything, 5 minutes from Psyri and 15 minutes from Plaka, there is also the metro not far away. The hotel staff is very kind, always ready to advise you, thank you for everything. The room was nicely decorated, very comfortable and very well soundproofed, it was a real pleasure to stay at the Fresh hotel. The little extra, the breakfast buffet included in the price which is increasingly rare. The hotel has a magnificent rooftop and a beautiful swimming pool. Nothing to say, I will come back without hesitation!

I stayed here recently with my wife and 2 children (Ages 8 and 10) for 1 night only. The hotel was very nice and uniquely designed. We had connecting rooms and they were clean and relatively spacious. The staff was friendly and email communication was prompt when arranging for transportation to and from port/airport. The location was the biggest detraction for me. This is not to say it is a terrible location as it is a 7 minute walk to Monestiraki square and right near the Pysri distract but it is very close to the rather sketchy area around Omonia. As I was staying with young children, in hindsight I would have preferred to stay further away from that area. Additionally, having one room with a balcony facing the street was rather loud at night. That being said, if I was younger, single, and/or interested in the night life scene, I would add an additional star or two to my location rating. Oddly enough, the power did go out in one room briefly but the front desk was quick to respond and addressed the issue leading me to believe it was a fluke occurrence. All in all, a good experience overall but again I recommend this hotel for single or adult travelers and not for families.
