This hotel was perfect for our needs. We were in room 52 (?) and while the room was small the balcony was large. The free wifi worked well. Reception was very pleasant, the reception area clean and pleasant. Yes, the elevator is very small, it made for many funny photos. The hotel was located near to many great restaurants and...

When we first arrived our first impression of the place was good. The driver that picked us up was polite and chatty, and we got to the hotel very quickly from the port. Plus it was a free pickup. The reception was well maintained, and the staff friendly, to start with... We got in an elevator, which felt like it...

My husband and I stayed on the 3rd floor in room 32 and the room was run down, had not been renovated since the 70's and was a bit scary. The carpet was coming up, lights didn't work, TV didn't work, AC worked but made strange noises all night and bed looked extremely old. If we were expecting 1-2 star...

This hotel is an inexpensive alternative to some of the mire pricey places in Piraeus. It is a short walk to a bustling pedestrian area of shops and restaurants. It is also right around the corner from Zea Marina which provides a nice waterfront backdrop for dining. There are also several American fast food places line KFC and Pizza Hut...just...

Get the X96 bus from the airport. When on the bus, phone the hotel. They will tell you to ask the driver to let you off at the Demitrio? Theatre stop. You will be picked up and taken to the hotel within a few minutes. There is no charge for this service, nor for taking you to the port in...

This place is great if you have a next morning early ferry at the Port, they provide free shuttle transfer to send you to the ferry. We didnt pre arrange pickup service and finding the place is a nightmare, took us 40mins frm Metro station dragging luggage across to get there. But i guess if you pre arrange it with...

Staying in Exarchia

Neighborhood Profile
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
