This hotel delivers good accomodation at low cost. Located near Omonia square (which is a good place to visit near the end of the night) this hotel delivers good accomodation at very cheap prices. The rooms are tidy and clean, the breakfarst is good (considering the price). All the interesting places of Athens (Akropolis and city centre) are within walking...

Don't listen to Google: Google suggested that we get out at Monastiraki station and walk along back streets to get to the hotel. This was long, inconvenient, and a bit sketchy, and got us kind of nervous about the hotel. Instead, get out at Omonia--it's a much nicer, easier walk. If you go this way, the location is very convenient,...

The hotel was a very reasonable price, and as we thought it is just somewhere to sleep, we booked it. We were pleased to find our room was clean and comfortable and the location convenient. As many have said, the area isn't the nicest, but it isn't unsafe, it's just run down. For us it was actually a good location...

Nice hotel, quite new, clean and tidy with very nice staff. The rooms are OK, clean and nice. The breakfast is average but for that price it is fine. The hotel is located within walking distance of the city center, in a area that does not look very safe even though nothing happened to us.

We stayed here for four nights. The staff provided great service. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Acropolis. We walked everyday with our children to the tourist attractions. It was quiet at night and very clean. The neighborhood looks a little unsure but we had no problems and felt safe. Typical nontourist city neighborhood. Very close...

I spent my Easter holiday here with my family and I enjoyed it a lot! It was really beautiful and awesome! I recommend this destination for having fun and visiting this wonderful city, Athens! The room was a little bit small but comfortable. Breakfast was good. We found coffee, tea, milk, cereals, yoghurt, cheese, ham, jams, eggs, bread, biscuits, cakes....

We were very grateful to have taken a cab from the airport (35 Euro fixed to Athens city center) rather than trying to find the hotel after landing at 8pm. Some reviews say that it is located in a bad area, from what I could tell no matter where you stay in Athens this areas are all pretty similar to...

I stayed at the Marina a year ago and it was excellent value, that hasn't changed but the area has, it feels a lot safer, I am comfortable walking around at night, the staff are wonderful and the value for such an accessible location to everything is well worth checking out if you are budget driven. 5€ in a taxi...

The Marina Hotel has nice rooms, a good breakfast, and a friendly and helpful staff. It is within a 15-20 minute walk from Monastiraki Square and all the main attractions which Athens has to offer. One could get there even more quickly if they preferred to take the metro from Omonia Station, which is less than 500 meters away. The...

“Check if towels clean and call reception before taking shower to make sure water won't be cut. Yea, and make sure to check if phone works, before checking in, otherwise you cannot call reception to ask if water will be running while you are in shower, and have to go down to ask them.”
