In spite of The Marina Hotel finding itself in what has now become a run-down area of Athens our stay there was enjoyable. It is ideally located in the Centre of Athens within walking distance of Syntagma, Omonia and Monistaraki. The staff there were on the whole very friendly and helpful (one Receptionist was a bit surly). The breakfast was...

It was our worst hotel experience ever. We have made reservation before we arrived there. Actually the hotel seems like a real 3star on its website. Buuuut when you arrive to hotel area you can see the gypsy of Athens. This is first negative point. And then, since we arrived our room, there was a foul smell like sewage especially...

We was a Spanish group, we spent a very good night. Clean rooms. Nice people working there. The hotel is in the city center and is great for walk in the center of Athens. I will back when I will back to Athems sure.

The rooms are ok, clean, confortable beds, friendly stuff. Ok-ish breakfast. Poor wi-fi, no for that. Bad neighbourhood, didn't like it at all, felt unsafe, but at least it was ok that it's close to the subway, 5 minutes.

The room is big, the bath (with bathtub) had hot water and fluffy towels, the huge bed was comfortable, we had 5 nice pillows that smell nice, a big wardrobe, a decent balcony (unfortunately the view is not so beautiful ) the air conditioning make no...

We had a very nice stay at the Marina Hotel. We had a huge and very confortable bed. Our room was very clean and we had air-conditioning as well. The personal of the hotel was very kind and ready to help if needed. The only less good thing was the breakfast, I missed more fresh fruit (there were only little...

Value for money, center of Athens, close to all points of interest and Metro stations, buses and trolleys. Quiet, clean, rich breakfast. Neighborhood dirty, full of drug addicts at night and prostitutes, but safe because those poor people care about nothing around them.My next trip to Athens is at Marina again.

Everything was good, perfect breakfast except the neighbourhood, didn't seem safe. Nothing happened but lots of homeless persons and somehow dangerous individuals, although we knew this and didn't got scared, important was to stay on the main streets.

The bathroom was old and not so comfortable. Breakfast had a horrible juice and we had to wait for the table all the days we stayed there. It is near the city center but the area is horrible, heroine drugadicts at 100 meters from the hotel. Not a very good place for families
