My husband and I, along with my daughter and her husband, stayed for 3 days at the hotel. I don't have anything negative to say. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was very good, the location was wonderful, and the views from the rooftop bar were fantastic. I loved the shower head in the bathroom; I wanted to take it home with me! Sarah at the front desk was very helpful in printing our ferry tickets and for calling a taxi for us. There are many shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. I would not hesitate to stay here again in I am in Athens.

The hotel is in a back street in Athens and on first impressions you may think it feels a little dodgy. But it is in a great location, close to loads of great cafes, bars and restaurants and walkable to the wonderful Plaka area of the city. Do keep your wits about you though as two of our group were targeted by pickpockets and one lost their passport money phone and cards! The hotel is pretty old fashioned but has a fantastic roof terrace with views to the Acropolis. Great for a budget break in an exciting city!

This is definitely one of the best options in terms of value for money. It is located right next to the city center. Almost everything you need is a short walk away. The rooms are clean and specious and the rooftop has great views of Acropolis and the city of Athens. Can't forget to mention the lovely staff of the hotel who were very polite and accommodating.

Evripides delivers great bang for the buck. It is very cheap, and yet it is super clean, has good wifi, 2 elevators, rooftop w great view of Acropolis, very friendly English speaking staff..And the hotel is located in easy walking distance from everything, including the good bars and restaurants of Irocn Square and Taki street, the more upscale Ermou street leading to the high end shops at Syntagma Square, Monastraki Square where the Flea Market area is, and all the tourist area around Acropolis..Very good bang for the buck.

We went there for our fist time together in Greece, and it was really great. Staff is very friendly, props to the french speaking clerk! Breakfast is very fresh and complete; and the view ont the Acropolis is great, wether in the morning or at night. The establishement is located near everything you need to see, you can go everywhere by simply walking. Nearest Metro stations are Monastiraki and Syngtagma, it takes 10-15mins to reach them. I would recommend bringing a tiny bit of cash if you want to get a beer at the evening bar; they sadly don't have a card reader up there, or get an Alpha bottle at reception, where they have one. Surrounding streets are filled with tags and broken pavements; but that's greek government in a nutshell. Would definitely recommend!

Room a decent size with small balcony looking out onto street, no room for a chair but provided good light for room. I would suggest asking for a higher floor if possible. Bathroom was a little small but decent shower and hot water all day. There is a good breakfast area on top floor with great views all over Athens and there were plenty of breakfast options although nothing hot. There is also a roof terrace above this and you can get drinks in the evening from small bar area and watch the sunset over the city. The best bit of this hotel in my opinion is the location. It's on a quieter street but 5 mins from the central market and the nearby streets full of street art wind their way past lots of bars and restaurants to the Plaka District which is about a 10 minute walk. Overall a good clean cheap and cheerful hotel.

Didn't get off to a good start as my wallet was stolen getting off the metro, so wasn't in the best of moods, but the people on reception gave me some advice and the morning after we missed breakfast as we wanted to go and report the theft, the person on reception pointed us in the right direction for the police station. The rooms are pretty much as you find in Greece, everything you needed, bath was far to small for me but shower did its job, free safe in room as well. So on the second morning we went for breakfast, this is the highlight of this hotel, as you walk into the breakfast area you are greeted by a really friendly lady who cannot do enough for you and she comes across as a very happy person, typical Greek fare and enough to set you up for the day, bonus number two the view is amazing and as you walk further round the Acropolis appears, it was a great way to start the day. There is also a roof top area where you can sit and drink and at night the Acropolis is lit up and looks magical. The first impression of the area isn't that good, but once you get used to it, its fine, it did seem very safe and literally round the corner there are little streets full of nice bars and shops, it was also very quiet at night which made for a good nights sleep, I would stay here again if I am ever in Athens.

I stayed here and there were many students staying here ( Which is a good sign.) I recall the breakfast bar upstairs has great views and the food was basic but nice. There's also a gym and overall was reasonable for the amenities it offered. One negative point however, is that the area is very run down and during my visit to greece, I found many beggers around this area which was not desiable.
