The hotel location is very very good. I stayed in a double room with private toilet and bathroom. Toilet and bathroom is too small. For short term travel you can stay. If you travel alone and no expectation for luxury you should stay in this hotel.

Great location within walking distance to everything, great service, friendly staff that spoke English, great views of the Parthenon from the front balconies taxi driver could not find the property, after a long flight from overseas the last thing you want to deal with is a lost cab driver, make sure you have the phone number of the property

Had booked this hotel online for a 1 night stay on our return back from Santorini. We had got the hotel confirmation and had also put in an intimation of our late arrival (1 PM) - since I thought it is better to inform in advance given that my wife is pregnant and the late night arrival. The hotel is...

The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to metro station and the center. just a few minutes walk. So many restaurants, bars and cafe's and stores and also the touristic souvenir shops are in the same street or around the hotel building. But that is all. Its 5 floor hotel and there is only one small elevator for...

Great, great central location, clean and friendly very close to lots of bars and restaurants, nice lively atmosphere. Not en-suite but that didn't bother us for a single night stay. We found a lovely pizzeria around the corner too

Staff were very helpful however up to 4 flights of stairs might test you out unless you're very fit. Rooms were clean and likely recently refurbished. Suitable for an overnight stay on a budget. There is an elevator for luggage...one floor up.

Exellent location in the centre of Athens, looking at the Acropolis ( some rooms), close to all " must see" attractions. Street crossing the Ermou with nice cafes and restaurants. Staff is very kind and helpful. The owners are very helpfull. I recommend this hotel for a short stay. The room is small but it has everything you might need....

Staying in Monastiraki

Neighborhood Profile
Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a difference. Apart from the dramatic backdrop of the Acropolis, its network of alleys and pedestrianized streets surround the remains of both the Greek and Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street peddlers vying for your attention to sell you nuts and sweets. Down beside the metro station, the official Flea Market is an unbroken row of souvenir shops until you come to antique-oriented Platia Avissinias, while Pandrossou Street on the other side of the square offers more tourist shopping. The pedestrianized street beside the Greek Agora is lined with cafés offering fine views.
