Highly recommended. Excellent location, everything is very close to the hotel, reachable on foot within a few minutes. We had room 603. Spacious, warm, very clean bathroom. Cleaning of the bathroom everyday, with fresh towels, and every second day change of sheets. Breakfast was gorgeous, full, and with variety of everything, salty and sweet, breathtaking view of the breakfast hall,...

We booked this hotel for 7 nights mainly because of its location. However it is in urgent need of serious renovation. The rooms are in an awful state, torn curtains, ripped and dirty wallpaper, the bathroom had stains and a bathtub with a nasty shower curtain (seriously???? In year 2016!!!). The fridge was literally sitting on the floor and the...

The entrance lobby and sitting area / bar are acceptable with furniture showing its age. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We did not manage to get into the rooms but given a room in the 5th floor facing Acropolis. The lifts are new but baddly installed. I had the impression that the lift was brashing the wall...

The hotel is located around the corner from Syntagma square and subway station. Shooping distric and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Brekafast restaurant is located on the upper floor and you can get a great view of Akropolis from the terrace. Unfortunately, they allow pidgeons to pick up guests' food leftovers. The room was spacious, Air conditioning only worked with...

We stayed two nights. On our arrival the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and we were early but they gave us our room as it had been vacated. OUr room was clean and for the star rating of the hotel, just what we expected. The view from our room was brilliant right over to the Acropolis. The location of...

This was booked for us so we did not choose this place. We got there and they brought us to our room. The room had not even been cleaned from the last person who stayed there and whoever had stayed there was completely disgusting. There were food wrappers everywhere and the bed was a mess. The person helping us didn't...

We had booked for 5 nights......we didn't expect outstanding, but we did expect pleasant. Our room had a torn curtain, stained carpet, dirty grout in bathroom. The rooftop dining area had stained carpet, which put us off our breakfast! We decided to look elsewhere and checked out hours after checking in. The desk did offer us another room, but to...

Really enjoyed our time staying at this hotel. We stayed for three nights and our first stay was the best as it spanned two nights and we had a better room - I think on the 6th floor? From the room we had a pretty decent view of the Acropolis - bonus! Staff were always friendly and helpful - they...

The location is fantastic, near Syntagma Square and Ermou St. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful and the wifi works fine. The breakfast is basic, but ok. Some rooms have a view of the acropolis. There is no parking. Best to use the public transit or a taxi. Good value for money.

Here are some points, why we think that your should be maximum 3* hotel: The stuff is not organized. During the hole period of email cooperation your employees were answering on the emails more that 48 hours, and the answers on our phone calls were not friendly from your side at all. Each time we had to wait very long...

Staying in Syntagma

Neighborhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
