The Acropolis View Hotel is the best place to stay in Athens! Clean rooms, excellent service, and a great value. Christopher at the front desk was friendly and incredibly helpful — he gave excellent suggestions for where to get dinner where the “locals” eat. In the evening we loved enjoying a glass of wine on the roof deck with an unbeatable view of the Acropolis. The rooms had everything you’d need and were clean. In the morning, the FREE breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Acropolis View Hotel and tell Christopher we said hello.
A small and interesting little hotel. The entire old city Athens is within walking distance. We stayed 5 days after a cruise, and we could not be happier. There was breakfast on the rooftop while overlooking the Acropolis. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The staff directed us to some of the best restaurants, and night spots in the area. This place is fantastic
A lovely hotel conveniently located within an 8 minute walk to the Acropolis. Breakfast choices are Greek, continental, and healthy. Very tasty. Staff is wonderful. Single beds are big and comfortable. Has safe. Wonderful view of the Acropolis from rooftop. Grab a wine in the evening and be impressed!
Great hotel in a great location. Tucked away on a quiet and small side street, but still easy to walk to the Acropolis and the subway. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast the best thing about this hotel. It is included and it’s one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. I’d return for the food alone!
As the name implies, the Acropolis View is well located for the Acropolis and Philopappos Hill, just a short walk up the hill. In the other direction, it's downhill to Makrigianni street where there's a bunch of decent if maybe overpriced restaurants, beside the Acropolis Museum. Other main sights are about 30-40 mins walk away, or you can take the metro (I didn't). Inside, the room was very comfortable with a decent view of the Acropolis from my balcony. All staff I met were friendly, helpful and professional. The only downside really would be the marble flooring throughout echoes quite loudly (but I think that's more down to heavy footed guests than the hotel). I had the included breakfast on just one morning, served on the roof terrace, with an unrivalled view of the Acropolis. A bar on the terrace for those inevitable evening drinks would be a bonus, as having to go down 5 floors in a lift and back up was a bit of a pain.…
The staff helped us to relax and to feel at home in Athens. They were able to answer our questions and to arrange car transfers for us. We appreciated all of the health and safety protocols that were in place. Rooms were not fancy but they were clean and comfortable. Location was perfect. We would gladly stay here again!
stayed one night as a stop over in Athens wish I had more time there. Excellent hotel. For a first time visitor to Athens Margarita Joliu and Eirinaios were very helpful and welcoming from advice on how to get around and were to eat. the room I had was booked as a single but had a very comfortable double bed powerful shower, the room was spotlessley clean and covid 19 cleaning protocols in place fair play to the cleaning staff / chamber maids. It might bother some guests but not me, one sliding window, view just before street level shutter on the outside which can be operated from inside the room for extra protection. air conditioning which in winter can be placed on the heat setting all in all very cosy. breakfast is pre ordered in your room or on the amazing roof top with view s of Athens and an amazing view of the Acropolis, word of warning if eating on the open part of the roof terrace beware of the pidgeons they will persecute you to feed them. would most definitely visit this hotel again. Metro about 7 minutes down the street easy to find and navigate. hotel in lovely quiet street.…
The staff was very patient and helpful with all our, they were very funny and kind. Great rooftop terrace with Acropolis view - spectacular in the evening! The room it was fine! Everything is close by (mini market, restaurants)
We only spent one afternoon and night here before heading to islands, but enjoyed our stay. Our room on the 3rd floor was small and basic, but clean and had a small balcony with an Acropolis view. Everybody we encountered at the front desk spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful with where to eat, arranging taxis, etc. Breakfast choices were extensive and could be served either in our room or on the rooftop terrace. We chose the latter. We liked being in a residential neighborhood, but within walking distance af tourist areas. We would stay here again.
The location is right at the bottom of Acropolis. The view from the room was right to Acropolis and Odeon. Safe area. The staff was very patient and helpful with all our pandemic-related rearrangements, they definitely exceeded our expectations. Great rooftop terrace with Acropolis view - spectacular in the evening!
