Our hotel is located in one of the most historic areas of Athens, in the square of Psirri. Ideally located around the most famous neighborhoods of the city (Plaka, Monastiraki, Thiseio, Koukaki) to discover in your tours. Also, our inner courtyard in combination with the enjoyment of a Greek wine exudes the air of old Athens. Our rooms are divided into categories to find the one that suits you.

Lovely hotel with kind and caring staff! This review is long overdue! We stayed last May and were exhausted when we arrived from Florida. Our luggage was lost by the airlines and the staff was kind and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and on our last day we had a very early ferry to Paros so the front desk offered to pack a breakfast for us to take with us. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We have decided to go back to Greece this coming April and we will OF COURSE stay at the Philia for our time in Athens. Perfect location. Easy walk to everything! Highly recommend! See you soon!

This is a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. The rooms were spotless and you’re in walking distance to all of the major sites. However, management needs to speak with the reception staff about phoning the rooms and annoying guests. Due to the flight times, we missed a full night’s sleep. When we checked in, we were offered breakfast in our room which we accepted as we planned to sleep in. That morning reception called the room twice. Once to ask if we wanted the room cleaned and a second time to ask if they could come and collect the breakfast dishes. When I explained that we were tired and did not want to be disturbed, he told me that he wanted to get the dishes cleaned before his shift changed. Then every morning after that, about half an hour before they brought the breakfast to the room, they would call to say it was coming. It was so annoying! On our last morning I was just packing the last of my things and again the receptionist called (for the second time that morning) to remind us to check out. This was at 11.05. As we were leaving the room at 11.10 the receptionist was actually on his way down to our room but turned around when he saw us coming. There were a lot of other smaller issues as well. Construction work was being done on the stairs just outside our room so every morning after 10am the hammering and drilling started (no notification or apology from any member of staff). The shower in 106 flooded and the towels are only changed every second day. Although reception did reluctantly give us fresh towels when we asked. Also the picture of our room on Booking.com showed a jet shower but it was just a regular shower. Finally, the pancakes at breakfast were lovely but the orange juice was just diluted water, not fresh. The cleaning staff were lovely and do a fantastic job.

This is potentially one of my favourite hotels that I have every stayed in! The staff that work here are SO friendly, accommodating, kind; nothing is too much trouble for them, I got the feeling they enjoyed their job which led to them delivering incredible service. The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in 101 and had a lovely little balcony which was just lovely. Lots of attention to detail in the rooms; a nespresso machine, small fridge, robes, slippers, all of which contributed to a very comfortable stay. Location was my favourite aspect of staying here, the neighbourhood is fantastic; lovely bars, restaurants, cafes, shops.... just perfect! Do not hesitate to book this hotel, it is perfect!

We booked the family suite for 3 nights. The hotel building is beautiful. The staff are all extremely friendly. The location is excellent for a range of bars and restaurants. One point to note - if you're going out, it's best to turn right as turning left takes you through some very dodgy places.

Wonderful little hotel in Athens! Close to everything, staff was warm and knowledgeable. Breakfast was incredible. Loved everything about this stay! Comfortable bed, room. Would only say the sink area in bathroom could use a bit more counter space, but over all great stay!

My wife & I had a wonderful stay at this little hotel. We arrived a day late, exhausted from our flight delays & cancelations, and the staff was so welcoming! The room was very clean & very comfortable, the breakfast was perfect, and everyone was friendly. The location was central to all the major sights, and we walked to every place we wanted to see. Best of all, just around the corner was the Psyrri neighborhood, with sidewalk cafes, bars, restaurants & more. The street the hotel is on looks industrial & has a lot of graffiti, but it felt perfectly safe, and its quiet. But walk half a block in any direction, and you'll find plenty to see & do, all day & into the night. I have recommended this hotel to my friends, and I can't wait to return to Athens & stay here again.

We stayed here for our pre and post cruise stay. Absolutely gem! The staff was so helpful and accommodating. They handled all of our transfers to and from the airport and cruise port. Even packed a breakfast to go as we had an early flight! Love them! Plus Uber works like it does in the United States.

Awesome!! Spent ton of time sifting through hotels in Athens and was very pleased with this place! Delightful staff! So kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Wish I took a pic. Huge slices of fresh fruit. Room was a two story suite and was tons of space for us and very comfortable. And totally walkable to grocery, bars (including a fun gay bar), wine place for tastings and retail, and train station. Awesome and cute. An easy choice.

Gorgeous, chic hotel with very kind and accommodating staff! Wonderful location in a walkable neighborhood with a lot of night life. However, the street it was on was quiet at night. For the price, this is an amazing hotel. We would love to visit again.
