Just returned from a work trip based with colleagues at the Park Hotel. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Receptionists helped with translations, directions, safety advice, restaurant booking and wrangling taxi drivers. The cleaning staff coped with all the technical equipment we had scattered around our rooms and the odd hours we were keeping. The restaurant (only used the...

I thought this a perfectly reasonable hotel and have no complaints. The staff were exceedingly friendly, helpful and considerate, the rooms clean and acceptably appointed although my bathroom could do with a little sprucing up. The hotel is a matter of yards from the Archaeological Museum and a short taxi ride anywhere central; taxis in Athens are v v v...

We arrived quite late for a weekend break we were greeted by a friendly receptionist she was so helpful to us. My husband had booked a junior suite omg, it lived up to its name and more. Table and chairs, over sized sofa, office area, running machine, dressing area, it was fantastic and had 3 TVs!!! The price he paid...

Well-trained professional staff with personalized service. Recovers well from mistakes and strives to satisfy guests needs. The downside are the rooms. Supposedly I received a renovated room but it looked like a partial job. Older looking cloth furniture, a lamp that would not work, a shower that leaks water to the bathroom floor... Coffee pot still had water left inside...

Nice Radisson Blu, decoration at the lobby is great and it has a nice terrace where you can see the Acropolis (quite far though). Did not try the food so I cannot say anything about this. The room was spacious although the toilet could be renovated, looks quite old. The bed was amazing as usual in all the Radisson. Breakfast...

When I booked I thought it would be the typically Radisson. However this Radisson Blu concept is really nice! Nice trendy lounge area, the food at the restaurant was good and the prices were half decent. They have 3 elevators and they are pretty quick. The hotel is easy to find and close to food, shops, parks and historic monuments...

It's a very good hotel. Exellent hospitality and very confortable. It has an excellent restaurant on the top floor where we have spent all the family with friends our Christmas eve. You can see St George le cappitus and the Acropolis. I would always like to visit it while I'm in Athens.

We moved to this hotel after one night at the Attalos Hotel in the City Center. The Radisson desk staff were incredibly helpful with the transition. They did all they could to make our stay exceptional. Stephanos and Antonis made us feel very welcome. All staff were professional. The Oak Lounge wait staff and the room cleaning staff were top...

Hope you like to walk everywhere as this hitel is far awag from the acropolis. But on the other hand very close to the archeological museum. The best museum in athens for us. as everywhere in athens people smoking is a problem and the entrance to the hotel you have to cut your way through the smoke to get in....

This is a good hotel with great staff and a really excellent restaurant. But I have to agree with other reviews in that the rooms do need bringing into the 21 century, they are rather dated and need to revamp them. We did move from the second floor to the third floor which was a lot better as we overlooked...

Staying in Exarchia

Neighborhood Profile
Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
