Best view of the Acropolis ! This is a wonderful hotel and great people - I have stayed at other hotel around the Acropolis and this place has the best view - The staff at the hotel are just amazing !
Hotel is clean, friendly staff, lots of room in lobby areas, nice dining area with view of the Acropolis. Good location and quiet. Very nice exercise room with a sauna (currently closed due to COVID). Rooms are a little small (compared to US hotels). Overall very pleased with the hotel.
As I was invited to a wedding near Athens with my partner, we combined this with a stay of several days in Athens, especially to enjoy great food, the most interesting sights and also to shop. We specifically chose a hotel from which we even had a direct view of the Acropolis from our room balcony. And it was important for us to be in the centre of the action of the big city. A hotel from which everything can be reached quickly and easily. That's exactly what we got and we are much more than satisfied. I'm actually quite petty when it comes to hotels, but can't find anything bad here by any stretch of imagination. In the basement, I used the spacious and probably recently completely modernised gym to keep my strength up. Unfortunately, the sauna was not usable due to legal requirements because of Covid-19. However, it too looked clean and very spacious from the outside. There is even a hotel's own souvenir shop in the basement, from which my girlfriend and I were able to quickly buy things at the end of our stay that we had forgotten to buy in the rush of sightseeing. However, after we went to the basement for the first time, everything was eclipsed by the fact that we were even allowed to view a historical excavation of the Wall of Themistocles lavishly staged behind a huge glass façade with lighting INSIDE the hotel. The breakfast buffet is not skimped on, the selection is gigantic and in the morning the service is constantly making sure that everything is there and that only the early risers get the "best" bites. We always managed to get through the whole day with the very tasty and particularly rich food, and then in the evening we enjoyed the masterpieces of the Secret Garden restaurant of the hotel (with a view of the illuminated Acropolis). And the food in the restaurant has been truly divine from starter to dessert. It was as if there really was a chef at work who firstly knew what he was doing and secondly also put love into his work. Huge praise to the kitchen at this point! There is not much to say about the excellently air-conditioned rooms. Typical 5-star luxury, as you would expect. My tip is to book a room with a good view of the Acropolis, if one is still available. By the way, I just remembered: the bed was so extremely comfortable that I'm still trying to find out who made it so I can buy one too, slept like Baloo the Bear after a horrendous meal in the jungle. :D And before the amount of text here escalates even further......just book, you can't go wrong with this hotel, at least in my opinion.…
Best possible location, great hotel with very good food, very kind and polite staff that did all to meet our expectations! Mr. Loukas is world's best receptionist ever and restaurant on the last floor has magic view over Acropolis!
the room was ok but the bathroom not very clean; no place to hang towels! we where three of us ; disapointed because we thought breakfat would have been on the terrace rather on floor - 1! the positive was the location of course
