My husband , brother and girlfriend were supposed to leave in a few days to go over to Europe and stay here at this hotel. It does say non refundable but considering there is a GLOBAL PANDEMIC going on and they are NOT ALLOWING AMERICANS into Europe we are unable to go. We have emailed since July 7 several times, called with no response from the hotel. We received word today they will credit us a little more then half our total stay in which we paid. We have this credit for 18 months and that’s even if we are able to go ever . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. I am a travel agent myself and WILL NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. This is my second time at this hotel. When I first visited, they did not have the restaurant and bar up top, and what a good addition the bar and restaurant are! After walking around the city, the restaurant is a lovely place to sit and cool off with a drink. Be sure to ask for Loukia! She is not only one of the sweetest people I've ever met, but she is knowledgable and always willing to offer a suggestion for a restaurant or something to do. We adored her, and I'm sure you will too. The rooms remain clean, well-stocked with waters, and at a close proximity to all of the big ticket items in Athens. I would highly recommend this hotel. Everyone here is incredible and helpful.

I booked Acropolis Select Hotel for my upcoming trip to Greece as extra nights in addition to the Rick Steve's tour. I prepaid the extra night already but due to the coronavirus, I had to cancel my entire trip. I just sent 1 email to the hotel to let them know that my trip has been cancelled. They replied promptly and offered full refund immediately. It's such a difficult time right now around the world, and I really appreciate the amazing service and care the hotel has done. I will definitely go back!

Our second stay at this great hotel. Can always find parking in the streets around the area. All the staff were extremely polite & friendly. Large rooms, very clean & warm. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Very comfortable beds. Lovely new restaurant & bar on roof top with amazing view of the Acropolis. We will be back. Thank you!!

The hotel itself is basic with clean and comfortable rooms. The shower is small and you'll be able to hear muffled sounds from the next room. The location is excellent - only a short walking distance to the Acropolis Museum, Acropolis, Hadrian's Arch and the Plaka area. What truly made our stay special was the staff. All of the staff are lovely. Raina, on reception was absolutely exceptional! She not only helped us with many requests but was very personable. I can not say enough good things as she answered any questions we had from making about suggestions of things to do to making some recommendations. If you stay here I hope you are lucky enough to meet her
